I am a certified snowboard instructor from AASI and received 20% discount off the bat.  I also earned points for logging in, posts, etc.  can I still get more discounts on top of what I receive from AASI? or is 20% my maxmimum discount that I can earn?

The max discounts allowed is 20%. And that does not include 2013 gear.

oh so the points do not reflect at all(meaning only up to 20%) or points do not reflect on the instructors?

youve already got max discount. Once you have that the points only really work for the freebie stuff (tshirt, bindings, board). 
Unless of course youre asking if the discount is cumulative with the sales, and OFTEN, (though not always) it is.

I don't see what you're getting at, sure some of us have spent a couple grand on gear which helped* get our discounts, but he does something that actually affects snowboarding by, you know, actually teaching kids how to ride. I think that's more valuable than spending money on a site that rewards it. Money that you otherwise would have spent anyway. If anyone deserves to get free gear and discounts it's people in the industry that actually help improve snowboarding and the experience.

scuddera - I was just asking what the deal was since I was not able to find what the freebies are!  Plus I wouldn't want for other people to feel like I'm cheating or being greedy.  I wasn't aware of the situation so if I offended you I apologize.
 
Rasta Rider - thank you very much for defending me! and yes, I love teaching kids and adults, but in general, I love teaching/showing people about snowboarding!  I didn't pick this up until a bad incident that happened in my mid 20's and still kicking my self in the head for not starting something I love so much so late... I would like to give the opportunity to others who never thought about or who never had a chance to go snowboarding and show them what we all love and why we love it! plus you can't go wrong when your in the mountain with fresh air, pow and great people!!!Smile
