What is your favortie trick. You may change your favorite trick.

Mine would have to be frontflip that I learned how to do while I was at Liberty Snowflex last weekend.

maybe it's because it's one of the few tricks that I know how to do, but a fully extended indy is just soooo much fun and my favorite

Yay! flat ground tricks! :D
My favourite that I can do consistently is flatground backside 180 (to a press sometimes) then into a frontside 360. This is me doing it here. Still working on my tail tap into 180 sideways nose press. Wasn't very successful last season because it was quite hard while riding stiff boards. I usually land it but tweaking it for more lift is where I fall because the board won't have the flex for the tweak. This video is an example of what it is.

The more daring you are, the quicker you will learn . The benefit of ground tricks are that messing up and falling are not so dangerous. Just need good agility; your petite frame is perfect for it

^ +1 to that. I'm not much for tricks, I'd rather ride steeps and trees so I hardly every do anything in the park.

My best trick is a backside 3. But it has a lot to do with the fact my shoulder dislocates extremely easy because of a hereditary thing where the ball of the joint is too small for the cup(my mom, grandpa and cousin all have the same issue). That makes it hard for me to commit to anything big. I don't even have to take a hard slam, just the wrong way landing on it and it pops out. Plus living in Colorado the terrain here is more exciting to me than any park.

awesome toots on spinning.  Really puts in into perspective the mechanics of the spin.  I still don't have them mastered, but I at least know what I'm not doing right when I don't make it.

I started out spinning per the Snowboard Addiction video, but my instructor showed me how to initiate the spin with very subtle edge pressure and then spin keeping the board almost completely flat. It's similar to an accidental beginner spin. Works better on some snow conditions than others, a bit of loose snow over hardpack or ice is good, sticky spring snow not so good.

pow slashes and ollies on anything and everything, but for actual "tricks" i'd have to go with a few standard grabs... tailgrabs are my favorite.  methods, melons, double stiffys, whatever.  also always love big slow 180s of any kind, especially backside and switch frontside.  tree jibs, smashes, and taps are also a favorite.  also love tripods all over the place, the kind that flows in your line and you don't lose speed. miller flips are fun too.

That was the first buttery thing I got down.  That's a good place to start.  Next start trying to hold that little half butter at the end a little longer each time.  You'll find that pivot point and you'll be very happy when you do.

Tailgrab or indy nosebone. Feels great and you can do it everywhere big or small.
Power method is probably going to overtake those this season once I practice.
