I'm looking at the TruSnow E-Gift Certificates and i noticed the deal on there that you can save some money the more amount that you buy. I want to get 1 or 2 e-gift cards for my brother and my girlfriend. But I heard that the gift cards are not transferable to another person if they don't have an account? I don't understand that. Also lets say i do buy a gift card for $400, I'll give it to my brother and He wants to get a board that is $420, can he pay the difference or the product must be $400 and under? I also heard that whatever amount you don't use, its gone forever? Because if thats the case, I want to know if i get a $400 gift card, buy a board thats $380 and then buy a hoodie thats $30, would that $400 work if i add the balance of the $10?
And one last question. If i buy a e-gift card through my account, do i get the member shopping points for it? or if i buy the e-gift card and USE it and get points? Or both works, i get points for buying the card and points again for using the card? |

I don't think you get member discounts on gift cards. I know it shows that you do but I'm pretty sure that it's a glitch.
Gift cards are totally transferable. They would need to make an account first in order to purchase anything. What ever is not used up is saved. If you use it to buy something more expensive, you can pay the difference. Paying with a gift card does not earn points. Buying the gift card does.

Oh i see, makes sense. So even if i were to buy a e-gift card myself, it would be a win-win situation right? I buy a $500 gift card for the price of $450 and i earn the Member Points of 3points per $10, and i buy a 2013 board thats $500, i pretty much save $50 on the board, kind've a loop hole?
EDIT: Nevermind, i just got what you mean by the member discount being a glitch. They should really fix that, I kind've told my brother i'd get him a TruSnow gift card for christmas, and i thought i was going to benefit from it by getting a discount on the purchase and giving away a gift card thats worth more. I think i'll just rather have my brother order something through my account and i'll just pay for it so I can earn the points. I still have some points that weren't credited to me from past purchased. |
