Send some my way good sir.  We only got 4 inches last night... but at least the guns are pumping out fakie stuff.

NJ saw some flurries today, nothing crazy but nice to see in November. Local hills look like they'll be getting some perfect snowmaking temps in the foreseeable future too. Quite happy about it.

It is snowing by me right now. We are supposed to get 2-4 inches of the magical white fluffy stuff so it probaly enough for me to go out and shovel in a jump or two if I would long enough.

we already have a good amount of snow even down to sea level, but probably need 2 more feet of snowfall to open the whole mountain, since we need a lot to cover all the trees and things up so it's rideable.  forecast looks good....

^That 20 inches of snow is extremely exaggerated. There was a lot of rain even on the ridges and so actual accumulation from the last storm was a pittance.

Hoping that there will be more snow than last year.

There is not a substantial base at any of the local resorts in Utah, but most are getting hit with 2"+ daily. If we can only get one more storm that produces 18"+ we should be set for a little while. Now wheres this storm going to come from, hmmmmmmmm

Well..the snow is melting away fast in my little ravine in Columbus Ohio. Sad sight indeed, and word of a few days of rain on the horizon. Do I need to revive the snow dance thread?! Who isn't snow dancing?

It's alright, you west coasters need some love too, and this coming warm snap for us in the midwest/north east is going to bring you all some much needed, and welcomed snow. A slight bit of more insight over here.... http://www.famousinternetskiers.com/january-thaw/

I've always been a big fan of the guys over at F.I.S. Their weather guys is usually on point with his forecasts. Also some really sweet trip reports over there too. Check it out.

You talking about your yard, or where you ride?

Yeah, all the snow (had a foot) in the yards around here have melted. Sucks too. Really wanted to hit up a little urban, but I'm way late to the game. Been swamped with work and travel. This week is the first one where I have actually had some time on my hands and everything is melted. Got to keep telling myself it's early in the season...LOL

I hear you on that. You are a HV kid, right? I'm heading there MLK weekend for some riding.

It is going to get much warmer this weekend, but it should cool off by the end of next week. Still...a forecast of 64 and rain Saturday....Dead

It does look like (and this very well could change) but looks like for HV the end of next week will bring some real nice snow making temps to help get some of the base back.
