I love burton hard goods (boards bindings even their boots) BUT thier gloves SUCK!!! You want a sick pair of gloves go with the brand called LEVEL - best gloves EVER. I've ripped (came apart at the seam) so many burton gloves so easily and my level gloves lasted me 3 years of hard abuse. I bought two types for this year a park glove and a sweet deep powder glove. Their venting system is awesome, and they hold up so well. Do yourself the favor and consider level. Some level gloves even have a built in removable wrist guard, size up if ya want to use the wrist guard though.

Ive never had burton gloves but they seem quality, i'd get the gortex gloves if you are set on burton just because having wet hands leads to cold hands. I agree with bagelz about level gloves, they rule! I have a pair of defcon learher gloves that are very warm and stay dry but after 1.5 seadons the finger tips are starting to wear thru

Not to contradict this, but I've not had similar experience with my level or Burton gloves. Having gone thru a pair of Levels in a single season put a damper on my opinion of them. Add to that the fact that I've had a pair of Burton goretex gloves that have been kicking it for almost 3 years now.... obviously i would think differently than Bagelzzz. But i will agree with the above poster.... spring a few extra bucks on the Goretex glove and you wont be disappointed. Mine even came with a thin liner that I leave in my center console for those cold morning drives to work. |

I'm riding with Burton Profile gloves for 2 years and they are the best gloves i've ever had.
Super warm and comfy for the whole season and even for the coldest days.Your arms feel great inside. For spring riding they are little too hot but you can still ride with them. |

Now tht I think about it. I never had gore tex burton. That prob is the factor. But ultimately, you don't want to go cheap on gloves. I had four pairs of cheaper burton gloves and the money I spent on four could've gotten me atleast one maybe two expensive more durable quality gloves.

I have not had Burton gloves but I can vouch for Level gloves 100%.
Warm, dry and super protective. My pair lasted me 3 years and got ruined after a really bad fall when one of the gloves literally exploded of my hand leaving zero damage to my hand. I would highly recommend the level gloves and they now come in gore tex too. |

^ I agree with this 100%. All companies skimp on their entry level products. A few extra dollars now tends to go a long way later... no matter the company or the type of gear. You get what you pay for. |

I have a pair of the Burton gore-tex gloves (leather) and I love 'em. I only wear them on powder days but they keep my hands warm and dry. The vent pocket for a hand warmer pack also is cool for really cold days. Plus they have a removable liner glove also.

I picked up a pair of the Burton Gore-Tex gloves not too long ago. I couldn't resist the high rating and the Gore-Tex. And I got them for a great price. Like $33. for last years model . http://www.trusnow.com/Burton-GoreTex-Snowboard-Gloves.asp
Although I haven't had a chance to use them for boarding, my initial opinion of them are very good. They are very well made, good heavy duty materials. I went with a large and they fit perfectly. Almost a tiny bit snug. And another reason I thought these gloves were a great deal is because they have the removable liner. Perfect for cold or warm days.

It was a while ago (08-09?), but the first and only pair of Burton gloves I had did not last a season without ripping and getting frayed all throughout the palm and inside finger area. I wasn't doing any grabs at the time, so I'm pretty sure it was just from carrying my board to/from the hill. Maybe I got a bad pair. Now, I just buy cheap gloves/mittens because I like getting new gear. Treat yo' self!

The stitching on my Drop mittens starting coming undone after 2 months.
I have been sporting Burton Dynasty Gortex gloves the past year and love them. |

I had a pair of DROP gloves. they definitely are built good. But level beats them. I gave my drop gloves to my friend, who doesn't board much.

I've owned the burton baker gloves before...while my roommates bought the gortex....mine only lasted a season (at best) and there's lasted multiple seasons.
At the moment, I'm using Dakine Scout mitts...they are keeping my hands extremely warm! I use mine ALOT..so they are starting to wear down on me already. |
