Yeah that's the worst part about it, waiting until February for the winner. I'd forget completely about it, though it would be a nice surprise.
I think it may be a one time entry thing, I haven't seen anything about it saying "enter daily."

I'm not sure if the gear is to keep or just use while you're there. That part wasn't very specific, though if they're giving you >$6,000 worth of stuff, I'd imagine it's to keep.
