I have to agree with you there Midget. Mother nature needs to pick a certain temperature range and keep it there. One day I wear shorts and then a few days later gotta break out the fur hoodies. Don't get me wrong, I love the cold weather cause it means SNOW. But it just needs to either stay warm consistintly or get cold and stay cold.

seems like a combination of indian summers and the climate becoming normal again

as for how that occurs...honestly, i have no idea why there's such a sudden shift in it. it was normal last week and now it's supposed to go up and stay there the rest of the week!

I'm really hating this weather. The 30 degree nights and 70 plus degrees days are killing my sinuses.

WI has been the same way. Warm..Hot...cold... just plain weird. I must say though when was in OK i saw a shift from 85 at 3pm to -25 at 9am the next day. Aint that some $hit when you are leaving to do a week a training in the field.

Anyways as long as it dumps some serious snow this year I wont care

Man, I thought huge swings were a Michigan thing, seems it's everywhere.  As the globe warms the weather is just getting more extreme.

In northern California, it was like in the mid-60s last week and starting with the weekend, the weather has gotten warmer and in the 70-80s.

Down in san diego it was 60's for one day, then quickly went back to 70s and 80s. At first I kinda liked it, but now I'm kinda sick... so maybe its not good for my health. still like warm weather though

It's supposed to hit low 90s here in the valley this week (32/33c for our brethren in the north).

I'm fine with that as long as it turns immediately to winter once we hit november. Just a long Indian summer, skip fall, straight to winter.

They have started to make some snow up in the mtns here, but nothing of any significance yet.

Oregon had some crazy whether mood swings.
It was sunny for like 70 straight days and in the 90s/80s. Then the very next week, its in the 50's and raining.

You'd probably be right but a 40 degree swing in a little over a day is still a bit much.

We just had a 40 Degree swing in NY. It was 30 degrees on Saturday morning, then 60 at night, then it was 70 on Sunday. Thats a huge swing. Now its back to 40 something. My body is all out of whack with the temp swinging around.

Aus has been getting snow fall still which is pretty usual for this time of the year. Usually ends in sept. Even places where it rarely snows got some over the weekend!!!

That bipolar weather sounds like how Nebraska is every year haha. Seems like about every year we get into winter and get a few inches of snow, then the next day it gets in the 80s. Also helps with the amazing potholes that form Wink
