palmer burn vs. burton custom

posted this in the board comparison section - didn't get any responses - figured i would give it a whirl here....

here is the scoop. Both are similar in how verastile they are. the burn is a little torsionally stiffer, so it will hold a better edge at higher speeds, but stiff has pop and flex for jibs. if you are agressive (haul ass, hit big jumps, ride pow hard) you will like the burn better. i think is still soft enough for jibs (maybe not a street handrail though). the custom will do all the same things, but it will work a little better at slower speeds. it is not quite as stiff as the Palmer. the burn is still softer than the sustom x. it is inbetween the stiffness of the custom and custom x
