Well, since quality and performance are obviously not a factor for you, I would go with this and save yourself a ton of money... http://www.snowboards.com/Emsco-Suprahero-Plastic-Snowboard-2012/205993P,default,pd.html?src=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=&utm_content=pla&utm_campaign=product%2Bads&mr:trackingCode=AF8C06C1-1F32-E111-AC9E-001B2163195C&mr:referralID=NA&mr:adType=pla&mr:ad=16639954752&mr:keyword=&mr:match=&mr:filter=33619494672&gclid=CMj41I_23LQCFQqe4Aod_V0AFg But if that doesn't float your boat, I would suggest to step back for a second and take design out of the decision. Sure, having graphics that you dig are slightly important I guess, but the way the board handles to the style of riding you do and want to do is a bit higher on the list IMO. Now, figure out your ability and terrain preference and take it from there.. |

This is one of the simplest board designs this season I think
![]() Smokin Deadlung The base graphic is as simple as the topsheet Smokins got some sweet boards, theyve also got 3 year warranty as well and magnetraction.. ![]() I like some colourful crazy graphics but also love real clean and simple graphics as well (especially when its gloss white..) One of my favourite board graphics is Endeavor color 06 (couldve been 05 or 07..) where the topsheet is just plain white with a stainless steel gold logo inlay but the base is like crazy colour palette. It looked amazing |

Found a few more Neversummer raptor ![]() ![]() signal (cant remember model name) ![]() Salomon drift rocker ![]() Also your names Korean, are you living in the states or in korea? The snow type of your base mountain may need to be considered in what type of snowboard would be most suitable.. |

I know it's nice to have a board w/ a graphic you like and they are expensive.... but, don't ever buy a board for the graphic. The only time you see it is when you aren't riding. Get a board that will perform the way you want it to and slap some stickers on it if you don't like the graphic or get a vinyl sticker roll and make it solid. But, get a good board not a 'pretty graphic'

When I first started I was the total opposite of this. I wanted graphics, sick graphics!!! So i paid $250 for a nice looking board and hated it, but had to use it for a good year. A year later, I got a plain looking snowboard for $50 and absolutely loved it (I did my research.) Bottom line, do your research, where you want to ride, find what you expect from the board, and after that, look for a design you like. We're trying to save you grief and money, you'll thank us!

I felt the same way about you asking for tips on what board to get, and your only criteria was color. If you want as close to a black board here are some options.... Burton Twin Sierra Reverse Crew Burton Mystery Forum Destoryer Rome Whiteroom Rome notch Salomon Powder Snake White boards..... Burton Malolo Burton Hate Sapient PNB3 Rossignol Amber NOW, if you would rather pick a board based on the kind of riding you do and your experience level, let us know your height/weight, boot size, how long you have been riding and what type of runs you normally do. Are you on groomers all day, a park rat, or do you like glades/trees...or are you almost always in fresh pow? If you MUST have a board that is either black, or white, my advice would be to get a board that matches your level and riding style, THEN get that board wrap thing that was posted above. Or, you could just get a board that is either all white or black, having it not match what type of riding you do, be too small or too big, and have a bad time. |

This. Or just get the Sierra Reverse Crew already and you're getting a great board, at a great price, with a relatively blank black canvas. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

i have a board i painted myself, but i wasn't thinking and painted the bottom also... well i tested it today for the first time, and the paint held up extremely well... the only problem there was so much friction it wasn't going very fast...
and i found solomon ace board, for $170 with tax and shipping, and with 10% rebate so i guess i found my board!! |

With that price, you're probably not going to be able to get any better. If they have your size, get it.
If you tell us your riding skill level and prefer riding style, or what you are expecting from it, we can get you fitted better along with your boots size weight and height. You are setback on this board, is directional twin with directional flex. |

Judging that this kid spray painted the bottom of his board, and keeps going on about color not specs, I will take a stab in the dark and say they are just starting out riding and need quite a bit of advice and walk through of different types of board. Don't worry OP, you are in luck! grab a beer/G&T/whiskey or a J, and go to this link and just read. http://www.trusnow.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=40125 Read your little heart out and get over this hangup on color that you are having. And once you figure out what style of riding you do/want to do bring that knowledge here, pick up one of the boards that are suggested, then get that 60 dollar board wrap that was posted earlier in this thread. BAM....problem solved. |

well.... i painted the board cause it was already garbage, i originally began painting the board because i was just gonna use it as a "art piece" in my living room. I was just curious if anyone else tried it and tried riding it after it was painted.
BTW, while i was waiting for my solomon ace to arrive, i tried the painted board, and had absolutely no issues with it... i was able to carve well and have no trouble on the slopes. so... lets not assume anything especially if you've never tried it |

oh and i never really gave too much info on the specs, since this is a snowboarding thread, and all my info is available on my profile, i figured people wouldn't recommend crap board?
It's kind of like going to a fancy restaurant and asking the waitor for food that has a nice presentation, you'd expect recommendations that have at the minimum decent taste, not something from McDonald down the block |

WT!?!? Painted the base of a deck!?!? The person doesn't know what the heck they are doing & wouldn't know a good board from a bad board. Then they have the nerve to criticize the suggestions they are getting from people that are trying to help? IDIOT!!!

+1 on the sierra RC. Im sure you're looking for a capable board too, not just black or white. Also u can just spend 3-5$ at a hardware store to get some weather resistance spray paint and spray your topsheet. I find matte colors stay on better than glossy finish

seriously, i dont know how many times i gotta explain this, I PAINTED THE DAMN BOARD TO USE AS DECORATION. Now, because so many of you have been treating me like a retard for converting a damaged board into a decoration i tried it on a slope to prove that it works fine if it really needs to. I can even record the thing next time. and i'm not saying the recommendations were shit, i'm saying that people like batmanwest and oinker, who just assumed that i dont know anything about snowboarding because i'm from the east coast, and asked for snowboard recommendations based on design. but as i explained over and over again,I ASSUMED YOU GUYS AREN'T STUPID ENOUGH TO RECOMMEND A SHIT BOARD, but batmanwest and oinker somehow has selective reading and only reads the words that makes it sound like i know nothing. seriously, let's not be an arrogant asshole and assume that everybody who's not a "local" on this forum is a noob and treat people with some god damn respect.
P.S. for those of you who did give actual insightful help, thank you. I just don't understand how some people will read ever other word and assume they understand everything |

They're just breaking your balls. Don't worry about them.
So, did you end up ordering the Salomon Ace? Or are you still looking. Ive ordered a few things from evo.com . The outlet has great prices. Always having a sale. And really good customer service. Oh, and ahem, TruSnow is really great too....But not sure if they have the Salomon Ace in stock. |

yeah... sorry about that angry post lol. it's kinda annoying that some people just assume everybody who asks a question is an idiot.
but yeah i just bought the salomon ace board. it was super cheap and kinda in my size. i usually ride 158, but they only had 158wide. shouldn't be that big of a difference since i'm not trying to do anything too crazy. i got it waxed at REI and i gotta say... i'm really disappointed... the guys got the wax on top of the board (i'm guessing they laid the board on top of the shaved wax) and didn't brush it properly after... they didn't go straight from head to tail and kinda went diagonal. i guess i'll start waxing my own board from now on |
