Have you gone to any of these events 2zz? Should my pockets be worried? Oh and I was reading the yelp reviews, do they accept only debit and cash?

The thing that caught my eyes were the free beer haha.  LOL  But it seems you can get more than one hot dog though.  LOL

There are definitely great deals. I wouldn't worry bout your wallet.
Yes they only accept cash and debt. No credit.
Free beer and hotdogs. Ooo Yeaaaa!
I got my helmet there at 1/2 off orig. price. I've seen other hard/soft gears at a great discount as well.
They also gears from this season, but at a lesser discount.
I was there when they had it in the beginning of the season and there were lots of gears. Am sure they'll have more now.
Boots though, sizes are very limited.

Hmmm.... I could swear I paid w/ a CC once before. I know Laurent prefers cash or debit. They also accept check w/ proper ID.

Also, the "AND MORE..." part of their ad is where your wallet will feel it the most if you're not disciplined.Wink They may have other non-snowboard related items available--i.e. Nixon watches, clothing/apparel from RVCA, etc.

Since my plans to roll down to SD this wknd fell thru, I'll be swinging by the showroom around lunchtime. Hope they'll still have some cold beer left. Tongue

Yeah, they accept credit now. It used to be either debit or cash. If you pay by cash, he might knock off a little bit or round down.

You think it's going to be even more cheaper than the sample sale since everyone is on Winter Clearance?

Is this place legit?  My buddy says it's a bad part of Oaktown.

The place is legit and is outside of the ghetto between Oakland and Alameda.
Is where all the warehouses are next to the freeway.

It's not in the shady part of town. It's all good, went there by myself and it didn't feel sketch at all.

Alameda is not ghetto at all. The general rule is as long as you're not in East Oakland and it's not at night, you'll be fine.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's "ghetto", but it's definitely not an aesthetically pleasing part of town lol

But ya, no reason to feel unsafe here. The restaurant right around the corner is a hang-out spot for cops anyway.
