Grateful for a company & a boss who are a-okay with me staying home for over a WEEK (and working when I can) instead of coming into the office and infecting others. sure wasn't that way at the old job!!!

my appreciation of gratitude is life itself being put on this planet , being blessed with such good family & friends 2nd to the thrill seekers who invented snowboarding without them the sport wouldn't involved what it has become today.

I'm grateful that I will be moving soon. Can't wait.
I'm also grateful that I am awake to the realities of our existence.
I'm grateful for all my experiences that make me who I am.
I'm grateful for every opportunity that I get to help others. And I'm grateful when others help me.

I'm grateful for my brother and his wife. Giving his siblings the timeshare to use for our snowboarding trip. And I'm grateful for my eldest brother to let us borrow his van for the drive.

I'm grateful for good tippers that recognize and appreciate my hard work and the service that I provide as a waiter. For that I thank you. As a student that snowboards at least once a week and golf, I need all the $$ that I can get. Without them, I most likely can't afford to do all 3 and still have money saved up.
I'm also grateful to have great bussers (most of my bussers anyway), without them, I don't think I can provide the service that my guests deserves. Is a small mom/pa's restaurant and is dysfunctional, therefore there're lot of more work for me compare to a corp. restaurant.

I'm grateful for waiters who actually strive to perform well at servicing because last time my friends and I went to eat at that shrimp place at Santa Monica pier called Guppy I think it's called. The food was crap and the waiter spilled water while cleaning the table next to us and some splashed on me and no word of an apology. Then a waitress came to pick up our pay, who wasn't even our waiter, and she was like you forgot to include tip. My friend told her she knows that's where you write the tip and that is her tip, zero. So when my friend got her credit card statement, the waitress decided to tip herself instead and needless to say my friend disputed the charges, which wasn't hard considering she works for that bank.

I am thankful for my girlfriend, who strives to be interested in, and participate in athletic activities in which i enjoy:) . From softball to snowboarding, and various other things not starting with the letter S, she makes it a lot more fun to do these things. And doing things together makes it a lot easier to do the things we like to do. I try to reciprocate, though admittedly she's got me beat.I'll make a stronger effort to level that out :)

im thankful for the fedex truck that i was following. He saw a tacoma cut me off on the freeway and he decided to block the truck and stick him in a lane while slowing down. He gave a flash of his high beams so I knew he was doing it on purpose. Talk about instant redemption on the freeway!

So grateful that i'm still physically inclined to do the things I want to do, now how I used to as a kid. but as you get older you body just won't be able to keep up with your brain.. sometimes the opposite is true.. you brain can't keep up with your physical... either way I wanted to take this moment to write about it. Pat on my back.
Lovin' the funny pics thread too =D
