baseplate refers to the actual base of the binding, not the mounting disk, just to clear that up. definitely sounds like it could refer to either, though, to be fair.
as previously stated, they won't send you new ones unless you broke yours. sometimes they will let you buy parts direct, though.. worth a call to rider services. if they say no, you could try to find a local burton dealer that will order them for you. as a dealer, we are able to order any individual part as long as it is in stock. opportunity for the most elaborate franken-binding ever...!

I sent you a private message but the thing is... it cracked from the heat during the summer.... I can't really ship it back since there are no post offices near our campus and i don't have a car.... (the campus post office closed recently)...

you can schedule a pickup with the major mail carries as far as I know, if that's what you need to do. I doubt it matters how it broke as long as you didn't do it on purpose. if they won't cover it, and you don't have a local shop you can get to, let me know and I can get the parts you need.

yeah.... i go to school in Indiana (and i doubt the nearest Burton dealer which is Zumiez which is still sort of far has 2010-2011 cartel baseplates)... last time i checked zumiez didnt carry bindings altogether :(
