Does the board have to be reverse camber? My wife has a 146 that is brand new but it is camber.

Yes She is on an old soft camber deck now. A progressing beginner. Wanting to get her a Rome Burton Ride K2 Capita Flow Roxy reverse camber/rocker entry level. thanks
