Board selection advice-

Been riding 15+ years, about 1-4 weekend trips per year- I consider myself to be advanced (although when I eat it I feel less advanced) on natural features but a beginner/intermediate in the park. I'm just starting to hit the jumps and am just getting comfortable with fakie. I want to keep working on that area. I'm 43, 6'0" 175lbs and in pretty good shape- surf and run a lot.

My current setup is a 2010 164 wide Burton Custom-X, with flow bindings and 11.5 flow hylite boots.

I love the boots and bindings, but they suck on the burton because the bindings need a special adapter to work with burtons ICS system. It just doesn't work well.

So 164 is too long for me, that and the bindings constantly getting loose is prompting a new board hunt.

I was looking at the lib tech hot knife in a 159... but maybe I should be looking at a 156? What size should I be looking for and should I be looking for a wide or midwide?

The hot knife is 25.5cm width... can I pull that off with the 11.5 hylites?

Any other specific recommendations for 40% park, 60% everywhere else?

I the custom x is a 26.1, and I have never had any dragging issues that I'm aware of... I have flow bindings that lift a bit at the heel and toe and the boots are pretty trim... I'm thinking that I have plenty of clearance.

And seriously from a 25.5 to 26.1? That's 6mm or 3mm on a side! I can't honestly imagine that making a giant difference :)

So it's between two boards I think... but I'll put that question in a new post.

My boy is on a 252mm waist width with size 12 boots with NO shrinkage tech.
Bindings angle 15/-15
Never felt drag, while carving, buttering, etc.
