    Posted: May/01/2013 at 8:21am
Hey Guys,

I'm looking to purchase the pair of TM-two boots and saw their video on moulding the boots but can't seem to find this 'Fit Kit' they speak of.

Does anybody know where I could purchase one?

Cheers,
Benjamin

You cannot purchase the fit kit.

They are given to specialty shops to allow them to heat mold their customers' boots.

Where do you live? There has to be a shop somewhere around you that carries ThirtyTwo who should have the necessary equipment to heat mold your boots.

That sucks...
I'm in Melbourne, Australia. There's only one shop here that seems to stock ThirtyTwo boots I'll ask them about it, although I've been there before and all they do is heat up the boot.

Ask them if they have them, the toe caps should come with the heating unit when ThirtyTwo sends them out to shops.

ok weird, I went to get my boots heat moulded and the guy at the store said the toe caps were stupid and very old technology..

Anyone know where I could potentially get custom made boots?
or even customise/alter my current boots to make them wider??

Coming from someone who's worked in shops for the past 3 years, the guy is full of shit, doesn't know anything, or a combination of the two.

Go back in and ask for someone else, and if they try telling you that again, just be adamant that you want the toe caps on. I assure you that they aren't "stupid" or "very old technology". I fitted numerous people this season at Northstar with those caps.

1. This question is in a thread where no one is talking about other boots, or Vans, or anything..

2. ThirtyTwo makes numerous different models of boots. They are not all going to fit the same as each other. They are not all going to fit the same as Vans. Your foot is completely different than someone else's. You are going to have to try on the specific 32 boot and compare it to your Vans AW to make a decision.

just got my boots fitted using the toe caps, pretty huge difference.

bit disappointed they didnt have the socks that were meant to go with it but the toe caps plus my snowboard socks made a pretty big difference.

although it still feels like I need the sides packed out more to be wider =[
