we have ours in.  realistically, the boot is the same, just with boa lacing, and there's not really a need to think beyond that.  if you are cool with boa, and the boots work for you, it's a go.  I rode the zoom forces for over 3 years and they were great.  awesome boot.

If you're looking to switch to the boa version then I would recommend only switching if it comes with dual boa knobs otherwise stick with lace.

zoom force boa is dual, whereas the vapen boa is single.  I agree though.  personally, not really into boa, but if I were to do it, I would only do dual.

Single boa never fits me good. I have tried too many.
Go with dual boa.
I tried a couple of Nikes, didn't fit me good. But boa is good. I got a pair with dual boa, never fail. Have 100+ days on my boa, and the boa system I have is the 2011 version. Boa have improve their system since then...am pretty sure. Is simpler in design, so less weight and less pressure point. Pressure point was never an issue with my boots because they fit me like a glooove.
If you can, try them on first. The boots might fit you, but due to the lacing of boa which provides different flex and pressure compare to traditional laces, you might love it or hate it.

I have had experience with single lace boa and had pressure point problems. I really want to give the dual boa a try. I heard it isn't a big of a problem but its hard to say unless I can actually ride it, but can't return it after. Plus I hate returning anything to the store once I have used it.

I know what you mean by returning used items, but if you must, REI has great return policy. Pretty sure you can return it even if its used. Just what I've heard.

Thank you once again for your informational input, you heard the man stick with laces because he doesn't like boa.  End of discussion.

I don't know about REI policy on returning used goods but I would assume that they would.  I know Dogfunk has an awesome return policy but of course you have to pay for shipping but it's worth it.
