Key game tonight. Warriors vs Mavricks. Playoff seeding involved and the warriors possibly without Lee and Bogut

Oh great, my raps get Houston, Indy, and the bucks this week while Bulls get ATL, Bucks, and Wizards. Kyle Lowry is out with a knee injury so they can kiss that third spot goodbye.

A couple of tough games for the Mavs this week. After the Warriors, it'll be the Clippers on Thursday. Mavs are 7th seed right now. A loss tonight would drop them to 9th, and out of the playoffs...

Argh! Mavs keep losing these close games. They've been in 4 OT games in the last 7, and lost 3 of them...Ouch They should have won this one though...the Jermain O'Neal "block" before Curry's game-winning shot...really should have been a "goaltend" that would have given the Mavs a 2pts lead...

Thanks for the apology NBA, but the mistake still gave the Mavs a loss that possibly could become the difference between making the playoffs or not...

Big test tonight with Indy in town. With the Bulls playing the Bucks, it looks like Raps are dropping to 4th in the east, unless they pull off a massive upset.

Pops is probably happy that the Spurs lost. He can use this as ammunition to fire up his players thinking they can coast into the playoffs. And, if they meet again in the West Championship round, the Spurs will play like underdogs since the Thunder swept their 4 reg season matchups.

Very happy about the Mavs win last night. The game was close for the entire game. Mavs got a nice 11 pt lead in the 4th but the Clippers came back and made it tight near the end. Mavs have given up leads in the 4th and end up losing many times this season. Glad they were able to hold on to the lead this time. Lakers and Kings got next. Time for a win streak!

at this point it looks like the Lakers will get no worse than the 6th over all pick.

I will be rooting for Golden State in the west and Miami in the east.  Yes I am a fan of James, would love to see him beat Jordan's record of 6 championships...as long it doesn't mean beating the Lakers in any of them to do it.

Mavs have won 3 in a row: Clippers, Lakers, and Kings. Yesterday's game got me a little nervous near the end when Marion missed 2 free throws. They're now 7th seed, half game ahead of Phoenix at 8th, and 1.5 game ahead of Memphis at 9th. Mavs play the Jazz tomorrow and should get another win, before going home to face the Spurs (hopefully, Pop will be resting his players). The last 2 games are against Suns and Grizzlies...those games will determine who gets in and who doesn't.

I don't understand how players can get DUI during the season. Don't they have games and practices to wake up to the next day? Don't they have a posse than can drive them? At the very least, they have enough money to hire a driver...

He made 3.5 million this year and is big enough to require 4-5 in an hour to get up to the legal limit.  But people want the independence to be able to drive or do whatever they want with their night.  I don't get it, but that's why we see it so much.

Mavs finished off a 4-0 road trip at Utah last night. Now, they're 1 full game ahead of the Suns for the 7th seed, and 1 game behind the Warriors for the 6th seed.

Next up is the Spurs who lost to the Timberwolves last night. Looks like SA is starting to rest their players. Parker (back spasm?) didn't play last night. Duncan had less than 20min and Manu had less than 15min. Spurs are 3.5 games ahead of the Thunder for home court advantage in the West and already have home court advantage for the Finals if they get there. So, they really don't have much to play for, especially if the Thunder lose to the Clippers today.

Really hoping the whole JV-DUI thing won't be a distraction. Especially when the Raps are battling it out with Chicago for third spot. Good thing it's the 76ers tonight.

Do the Pacers have a chance at Miami tonight?  This game might determine home court for Eastern conference finals?

Yes, if the starters don't play again...LOL

Mavs lose to Spurs last night by 9pts, largely because Dallas wasn't playing any defense. Spurs had a bunch of uncontested layups/dunks and wide open shots. Duncan gave everyone in San Anotonio a scare in the 1st quarter when he went down holding his knee. I'm pretty sure they'll let him rest a bit so he'll be fresh for the playoffs. There's no point risking an injury to their star players right now.

Of course not. 61 wins is more than enough to take the top spot.

Hoping my Raps keep the ball rolling against the Knicks tonight.

i think the raps would have a pretty good chance at taking the nets.

pacers just beat the thunder so theyre almost a lock for the number one spot now unless miami can string two wins together and the magic beat the pacers but i dont see that happening.

I'd love to see that happen but it's not comforting to know the Nets have been resting KG for the playoffs. Not to mention the Nets have experience on their side. It's gonna be a gritty series.

Mavs are in the playoffs after beating Phoenix. Now it's only Suns and Grizzlies left to fight for the last spot. 7th seed would be good for the Mavs so they can play the Thunder, who they've beaten a couple times this season.

theyve been killing it, especially considering some people thought they were going to tank the season. ever since they traded gaay, theyve really developed into a well rounded team. cant believe they were thinking of trading lowry!

i dont think i would want to come up against the thunder in the first round but then again, anyone in that top 4 are pretty tough match ups.

miamis loss means indy takes out the top seed. at least lebron will gets some much needed rest now.

Not overlooking Washington, but even if the Raps get past the first round they'll be facing the Heat in the second which they have no chance at all. I'd rather they play Indy instead of the Heat and the officials.

Yeah, but in the Eastern Conference, you'd be hitting the heat one way or another.  They aren't going to lose, unless some team is streaking into the Eastern conference Finals.
