One day but I wouldn't put Lebron on Mt Rushmore just yet...he has a pretty solid four though.

Wow thought it was gonna be a down to the wire win for the Raps but blow out it is!!!

Also noticed Mark McMorris at the game. Guess he couldn't wait to get the hell outta Sochi.

That's crazy.  I wonder if he is going to be back for the closing ceremonies.

Lebron's 3pt shot was ice, his 1st time in a similar situation to win the game when his team is down by 2pts. He was 0-7 before last night.

Mavs win a low-scoring game against the Pacers. I guess the Pacers were already thinking about the all-star break and didn't really want to play the game...

You have to love being able to steal one from the Pacers.  Most teams don't get that chance.

Yup, and the Pacers were at home too. They haven't lost much at home this season. I was pleasantly surprised, especially after the Mavs got routed the night before in Charlotte...Confused

lakers actually made a game of it last night...at least they are fighting...Marshall looks like a legitimate back up at least.

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say no. I'm pretty sure he won't set foot on Russian soil ever again especially when he'll have to spend one more night in a room with no heat and brown dangerous face water.

Don't know about you guys, but the dunk contest seems to bore me more and more as each year goes by.  Most dunks have been done a million times before so it's tough to get creative.

Yep. So they try to mix things up by changing the format, but then that hurts more than it helps.

I love watching the little guys fly through the air. They have such a huge vertical, it's mind blowing.

I like how the NBA does their all-star event. They make it fun, both for the players and the fans. They understand it's an exhibition game, unlike the MLB who try to make it mean something. Teams don't play defense and nobody cares because people want to see highlight-worthy plays. And the players enjoy the ally-oops and dunks.

I also liked the new obstacle course event that includes running, dribbling, passing, and shooting. I would like it more if they grouped up players on the same teams, though.

Reports of Raps going after Rondo. Questionable with his bad knees and the fact that he's doesn't have HOF players with him. But would be a nice addition.

Mavs playing the Heat today but Miami is only a 2pt favorite? I don't get these Vegas oddmakers...

^ even though Heat won by double digits, I think it was a good line.  Mavs were on a tear and the heat lost to the Jazz on the road a couple weeks ago.  Sure, the should be able to win every game comfortably, but they don't always.

Lines are more about how people bet, and apparently that means that people aren't betting on the heat so much anymore.

Kobe probably not coming back this year...good thing he needs to heal fully...and Lakers need to lose as much as possible clearly at this point. Trading Blake is a wise move.

I'll take Blake as a backup for Curry. I think he's in the final year of his contract and would give cap space for the off season. I still think the warriors need a center. Just like almost every other NBA team.

And way to start the second half of the season with a win.

Evan Turner to the Pacers for Danny Granger.  That is kind of a big deal

Disappointed that the Mavs couldn't get any trades done...I was hoping they could strengthen the center position.

Warriors playing the rockets. Blake to the rescue? I doubt it. We have no one legit to guard Howard. Anything can happen tho.

So glad the knicks didn't trade Shumpert and the lazy bum Felton for Collison. It's such a bad trade IMO. The knicks keep trading away their young talent and end up with nothing. SIGH

Bazemore makes a good team mate but he was wild when he played for the Warriors. I like him, hope he does good.

Mavs finished 3-0 road trip, capped by a buzzer beating shot from Dirk to beat the Knicks. Now, they're in the 7th seed in the West. Hope they continue with the winning so they wouldn't have to face OKC or the Spurs in the 1st round...

That is what the West playoff teams are all working for.  I am hoping the blazers stop the slide, so they can have a decent first round matchup, and maybe be a 3 or 4 seed and not have to play either of those teams next.

But then again, just having the blazers in the playoffs is a win for us after recent years.

Nope. The NBA was considering having a 4 point line. it was nothing serious. just talk I guess. i still think it's not a good idea.
