    Posted: Jan/10/2014 at 4:53am
I will be going to Japan toward the end of Feb and this is the first time I am travelling to Japan, but I have heard that I will need a low light lens for Jap...

Here is what I have at the moment:

Crowbar: Pink Iridium (57%), Hi Amber Polarized (25%), Hi Persimmon (63%) & Black Iridium (18%)

Would the Hi Persimmon be enough? I live in Australia so we rarely have to use low light lens, so I am just wondering if it is worth spending another 50 bucks or so on a new low light lens/goggles only for Jap? if so any suggestions?

I have Oakley HI Persimmon and HI Yellow.  For really low/flat light days I prefer the HI Yellow but the HI Persimmon are quite good, too.  My opinion is you should be good.

Jealous of your trip to Niseko...

Nice! Went to Niseko last year, its amazing the amount of pow they get. And just the whole town and experience was amazing. Which mountain are you going to?
Its not fun unless its sketchy

HI Persimmon is fine, you'll have a blast on and off the slopes in Japan.
Sessions sucks hairy monkey balls, the end.

I use the HI Persimmon as my everyday lens. It works ok during snowy conditions. But you can really tell a difference with the HI Yellow. If you can find a cheap pair of hi yellows then I say go for it. but otherwise you should be ok with the HI persimmons.

We bought a full mtn pass and we have about 5 days to go around Hirafu, Hanazono, Higashiyama and Annupuri resorts.

Any recommendations on the resort?
