Donald Says: When I looked at the Darkstar, I had an epiphany: The Darkstar is in fact the future of pop culture. If you buy this board I will definitely see you in the park doing some nose presses and tail butters with tons of style. The Darkstar is a mid-flexing board with some carbon torsion forks at the tip and tail for some added pop. I rode this board a few years back, and not only did it rip it up in the park, it rode well in powder and on groomers at high speeds.

The k2 Darkstar has to be my SECOND favorite board from k2 falling short behind the WWW.
The www is a little more jibber oriented but this board will deffinetly get the job done on those HUGE booters. Don't get me wrong, this board also kills it on the rails but In my eyes, It is made for those huge park jumps that the www aint so strong on. If I had the money Id buy this to have along with my www and be set for life. but I can't :( I really like the graphics as well, very origional and very creative. You don't want a board looking plain now do you? (excluding the P-line) Great price, great board... nothing bad to say about this one. All ive ever heard were good things and from my experiences of seeing and holding this in shops. it is deffinetly one of k2's better models |

i can seem to quit this board, i keep looking for board equivalent or better but i cant. It rides anything adn everything, and what ever it touches it dominates. Rediculous pop, super responsive, soft enough for jibbing adn sticking those nose presses, and the best thing is its forgiving enough to save your tooter from those iffy landings and drunken snowboard runs.... so basically this board makes me feel funny in happy places.

I just purchased this board after owning an entry level K2 board which I had been riding since I started. Not so sure what this board entails, but it seems like everybody loves it.
I don't spend most of my time in the park with occasional jumps, boxes, and when I'm brave, rails. Will this board be the right fit for me? Also.. I am 6'1" and 175 lbs and boot size of 12. I'm getting the 159. |
