Snap, wish I waited on the boots so I could save on shipping by purchasing a board too. Okay... what board should I get out of the available stock for pow riding? The Salomon Special as well? Might pick up some protective gear, maybe a pair of pants and more to make the shipping worth it Cry.

Rossignol Jeremy Jones: 158, 162
http://shop.sierrasnowboard.com/browse.cfm/4,1401.htm

Salomon Special: 159, 163
http://shop.sierrasnowboard.com/browse.cfm/4,1346.htm

Ride Havoc: 162
http://shop.sierrasnowboard.com/browse.cfm/4,2534.htm

Palmer P-Line: 158, 162
http://shop.sierrasnowboard.com/browse.cfm/4,1764.htm

Any suggestions? I don't think I'll ever use this board on the East Coast since I'll in theory already have two shorter boards. I'd like to spend as little as possible since I don't go riding in the powder much, however I also don't want to get a crappy board. Best bang for the buck I guess. ~175lbs., 5'6". Throw down your suggestions!

I think they might have already gotten them.  I was in last Friday, I saw a Shaun White, a T6, and a couple Vapors out on the floor (probably a few more things but I didn't take a look).

vapors were gone a long time ago..... but kimchijajonshim said he said a few instores a few days ago (late/leftover shipment from B) tho so if you are local, you might be able to score one.  if not, you can give them a call at (800) 401-1751 and see if there are any left.

Yea, I bet they'll give it to you.  Worst case you can return them then buy them again afterwards lol.

I think their main issue with that is people buying a board, using it, then expecting the price adjustment a week later.

the sale on the 06-07 gear never ends, once it is 50% it stays. When the  07/08 gears comes in it will be full price Wink. the real question is, whats left in stock? order quick because you might see something online and try to order but if someone in store nabs it before you, you're SOL.

Is in-store price same as internet price?

I'm local (San Jose, 2 hrs driving to SS), but wanted to know if the prices differ.

Give Sierra an email at info@sierrasnowboard.com or give them a call at (800) 401-1751.. The gear is selling fast at 50% off so I'd probably go with calling them to see what they can do for you.

I am about 85% on buying a salamon special with some Relay XLT bindings, but i have to save my dollars for books and other usless items. like the other day i bought a 1500 page physics text book for $130, that just isn't right.

i think the Burton freestyle boots that was on cheap like dog is actually more in-store as compared to online. i remember reading a couple days ago about someone complaining how he drove all the way to the store to pick it up and was told he'd have to purchase it online to get it at that price.

CHICK RIDER ADVICE NEEDED:

so I've been told not to pass up on the Burton twin deal- but i'm wondering if there's really a difference for a chick to use this board.  I'd say i'm an intermediate rider, that prefers more mountain boarding than in the park.  My decision has come down to the women's burton stigma or the twin on sale-  Need advice ASAP so i don't miss out on the deal!!!

If it helps my preferred spots are blackcomb, CAN, brighton, UT, and the usual tahoe spots - just to hopefully give an idea of my preferences....

help!

the twin is a great deal.  its has a sintered base where as the stigma as a extruded base.  if you feel the need to get a female specific board, go with the stigma.  if not, go with the twin. its a great price.
