there is one major difference between the air and the royale. the royale is a mid-wide board, which is designed for riders with shoe sizes 10.5 to 12. the air is just a normal waisted board for guys size 8 to 10.5. Other than that, these 2 boards have the same shape, stiffness and price tag.

It's going to be awhile before I can do the review, but I will definitely have it up before Christmas. I don't know if I will be able to go boarding before my trip out to utah mid december.
