Gah!! Now I gotta start watching the sale page again!

 . . . . though I guess I never really stopped LOL

Edit: so do you mean they'll be up within the hour (as in by 2:00pm) or within the next hour (as in by 3:00pm)?  Trying to decide if I have time to run home or if I should just stay at work a bit longer Confused

Don't think that you missed the deal on the boots since they are marked as sold out.  ALL the Northwave Five boots that were put up 2:16p.m were marked as sold out from the beginning.  I don't know what the point of doing that is other than to make people angrier for waiting all day and still getting nothing.  Makes me angry too Angry

One of the 6 models of Northwave are sold out.  We put them up before lunch and the Fives are the only ones sold out in over an hour.  We had one pair of Fives when we put them up.  Such is life at this point in the season.  Someone beat you to the punch on them and got the last pair we had for $30.

Honestly, why would we put up sold out inventory?

Yeah I am calling bullshit on this one. There was inventory on the Northwave 5's. I know this because I bought a pair.

How ironic, Sierrasnowboard hooks people up and people get pissed.

iceman are for real bitching about $29 boots and $99 snowboards?  I mean name 1 other site that has deals like that.  Come on please just 1 other site.  Its not like Sierra has 500 pairs of each boot or 500 boards to sell at these prices.  They are clearing out old inventory to make way for 07-08 stuff.  If you are going to complain please don't post because SS is good peoples and they are always hooking folks up.

All of the comments after my comment are bitching on me for things that I never said.  When did I "bitch" about $29 boots and $99 snowboard?  When did I complain on the excellent deals?  I understand your loyalty and gratitude towards SierraSnowboard but don't build it up by bitching on me.  What I did bitch about was specifically the Northstar Five boots.  The staff member said it himself that there was just one size of that model that was put up for sale.  So, me being size 10, I never saw that come up as available.

We didn't have any in size 10, so you wouldn't have been able to get the boots anyway.

Sorry bro but you said "ALL" the boots. That is what I was calling bullshit on. That is different than it just not being in your size.

Iceman just keep checking back man.  SS always has good deals going. They generally have a daily deal where they sell all kinds of cool shit with free shipping (right now it is suspended I guess due to the $99boards)  They giveaway a free snowboard every wednesday (Burton Retro Twin but soon to be changed to an even better board)  SS is a good site and great people.  I know it sucks not getting the boots you want but believe me this is not the last deal SS will have.

edit:  Jenn could you please delete some PMs so I can send you one.

I think he meant that the daily deals are suspended due to the $99 boards and $29 boot deals going on.

Interesting! More B by Burton Alpha has shown up for 50% off... was part of the $99 sale too. Too bad the sizes there are too long. Oh well, should be happy with my P Line I suppose Tongue

Is it likely that we will see more board deals this week?  I've been since the promo started and it looks like the sale is gradually changing to boots.  Not that I won't need boots, but I need a board first. :o)

BFBF, you and I need to show some restraint.  You live in the midwest, I live 3 1/2 hours from the nearest resort.  We don't ride nearly enough for the number of boards we own.  Shit, least Evernod rides his extravagant collection of crap...

LOL...I got 30+ days in CO last year which is alot when you consider the I live on the Chicago lakefront...

My boss isn't sure about letting me transfer out there, so he basically said, If I stay in Chicago,,My company would "fund" some of my trips to keep me happy.(I hate the fucking winters here)

So, I'm planning on getting 50+ days in this year between CO, a planned whistler trip(we're going heli boarding in sick pow), and Seven Springs in PA over the holidays with my brothers...

In addition, If my twin brothers like riding, i'll give them each a board..

so, I can justify...LOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOL

Damn, I had no idea you go that many days just traveling out on weekends.  That's nuts.  I'd like to get 20-30 days this year, hopefully that's reasonable.  I'm down to drive that every weekend, only real impediments are gas money, lack of friend interest, and the gf.  Those first two are connected and need mutual resolution, but at least that last one comes with some pretty good fringe benefits Big%20smile

ive got old roommates, chicks I see from time to time, and like 5 other guys who like to shred in CO, so, I spent almost every other weekend there in the winter...

I pretty much know Keystone and Breck like the back of my hand...

60 is the goal this year.

If I were you, I wouldn't dick around with any half-assed pow boards.  I would go all the way to the design of the Burton Fish.  Dude, if you have some deep pow to slash, those freeride/pow boards aren't quite going to cut it.  I am so jealous!  I use to go cat-boarding with my dad and brother every year and I've missed out the last few because I don't live in Washington anymore Cry

BFBF we are going to tear CO up.  I will be in CO for thanksgiving so maybe I will head to vail and rip it up a little with you.  I know I can get in 50 days this year.  I found out that I can work basically whatever hours I want in Denver as long as I put in my 40 a week so that means working some 10 hour days 4 times a week so I can board one day during the week.  Plus I can drive to Keystone and night board.  Damn I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I will own 5 boards probably by the end of winter.  5 is going to be plenty I think.

It's a place over near Silver Mountain in Cataldo, Idaho called Peak Adventures.  It's run by to ex-pro snowboarders who are married and run the place together.  If you ever have about 300 bucks, it's well worth it.  Check them out!  Super rad couple who will take you on a fun trip!

The runs aren't that challenging, but i wouldn't recommend anyone under an advanced intermediate rider.  It's a long day and gets exhausting.  Especially if there's a fair amount of snow.  And knowing how to ride trees is a major plus since alot of the runs are tree runs Thumbs%20Up

Man I haven't gotten my finch yet but after seeing brody's finch with the white bindings in his power stance picture probably white bindings.  However if SS drops the price of the cartels to something ridiculously low I will be buying them and black bindings will go ono it.
