I;m a freerider mainly, like to do lots of carving and high speed. Narrowed it down to these two boards. Someone told me the TRS Mag is actually a better freerider than the regular magne traction due to being stiffer. Also have heard the T6 is an amazing freeride board.
Anyone ridden these?

I have both the TRS and the Magne Traction from last year. i think the Magne Traction is stiffer and i would use it if i were bombing down some steeps. i ride the TRS all over and it is also pretty damn stable. i don't think any of their boards are particularly soft. basically, i think you'd be good with either Lib, even though they call them freestyle boards.
but i'm no Jeremy Jones (the Rossi variety) Edited by evernod - Sep/27/2006 at 1:25pm |

Thanks for the reply. I am really stuck on what to do. I hear from people the T6 is this "amazing" carving and freeride board. But at the same time I really like the Libs.

The T6 is a crazy high speed carving and free-ride missile. It is super fast, super responsive and holds an edge like a champ. Its really good on big jumps and pipes too.
The TRS is going to be nowhere near as stiff as the T6, but that doesn't mean it won't kill it everywhere as well. Actually, its a lot better if its your only board. The T6 pretty much only feels good if you are pushing it 100% all the time, if you want to just cruise, it gets fatigueing really quickly and is just too commited of a board to have as an only board. I definately have a soft spot for the T6 though |

Been doing all of the same research and went for the TRS w MTX for a board that could freeride. Of the Magnetraction boards, that was the board recommended by the guys at Mervin.
