You could even turn the nozzel to the side and have it spray some green down the arm.  Just a thought

I like the T-shirt design, we really need some new t-shirts.  We are also going to finally make the die cut stickers everyone has been asking for.  We need other sticker designs besides the die cut.

We are finalizing the construction for the boards.  The graffics are done.  The construction and pricing are being finalized this week.  We will keep you updated with what is going on with our boards step by step.

So, after trying to design boards in three weeks we relize that we need to start working on 08-09 board designs, molds, construction asap.  So, I thought we could expand upon our board design to incompass all aspects of boards design, to include shapes and molds, sizes, design, construction materials, the whole process.

I know that first on my list is a powder board...

Bottom was supposed to look like a perforated metal sheet, with certain holes filled in to look like the U.S., the red dot is where Sierra is supposed to be located.

What I didn't finish... I was going to have red dot lines sprawling out of Sierra's headquarters to represent the virtual network that makes up this online community. Will also fill out a number of holes to look like the Sierra 'S', and maybe some to spell out Sierra Snowboard.

Probably won't make it home in time tonight to finish. Regardless there are some kick ass designs out there already.

These are great concepts, we are starting our 08-09 designs...

Can't get enough of that picture.  It is a toss up on the S TWIN, which still needs a name, we like them both the spray cans vs the aplabet.  We are thinking goin 153 and 155 or we can get more of Jib stick, but its in a 156 vs the 155 that is a directional twin little narrower.

The world tour is looking like we are going to go 158 narrower quicker progressive side cut.

The wide board, that picture is not even to a point were I could summarize.  We have until June 12th...

Just make a design that has a bunch of the members names and avatars on it. You will have to have the top posters and major contributers but it could look sweet. Even have a screen shot of the website on there. A scrapbook design or a collage' (spelling, i aint french)

Thanks for the feedback on the tees, glad people are diggin' em. I think putting the logo graphic on the back is a pretty sweet idea I did originally design it like that but didn't have time to upload it, I think it's more subtle that way. Anyway a few more designs for tees, a board and t-shirt matching combo would look tight!

Much thanks for Blue at Capita snowboards for making our first snowboard.  Tomorrow he is off the europe to make Capita 08 happen.

With the help of Johan at C3, Blue at Capita, and all of our community members we have been able to do in a month which should have taken a year.

We are going to be able to produce a true twin 155 with proven construction, from one of the best factories in the world.

But, all the other boards will have to wait until 08-09 season, the five finalist will get their 155 Twin as soon as they arrive around Nov.1.

We are looking forward to going thru the design process for 08-09, which has begun here and will envolve to include shapes, constructions, designs, names, marketing, and price points.  Where are looking forward to the entire process as it plays out on the design threads.

Philwiles spray paint can design will be used for a 155 true Twin board.  The others whose designs were initially chosen as the top five boards will also be receiving a board when they come in.  Those who will receive boards are Philwiles, Gsrrr, Metal Gear RAY, and Trevinous.

Am loving these t-shirt designs, sick man! Board and t-shirt combo would be real good. Hey Sierra you could do a deal ‘buy a board, get a free matching tee’ :) Gotta say I’m into the whole vibe of these designs, some of the other board designs are pretty cool but the spraycan thing looks like nothing else out there at the minute, really stands out for me. Why don’t you try some of those other characters you did for the boards as t-shirts, see what they look like?

Alright kiddies........ So, here are a few pics of the sample production of top and base sheets.  These are not finished models, so the base looks a bit milky right now and Blue said that the camera that he used isn't the greatest, as the lighting isn't either in the room that he took the photos.  Soooooo........ here are the pics of the sample product so far.  It's lookin pretty damn good in my opinion!

I was able to use archive.org to look back in time at their website in order to view a couple of really small pics of their black board and the white board as well.   Unfortunately, most of the site was incomplete, with some of the links taking you to the currently defunct domain.  Apparently they made bindings too.

I then found that c2core.com had an e-article about the release of the store's items:

On September 1, 2006, 802 Snow and Skate Shop of Burlington, Vermont is set to drop the first-ever shop designed and produced line of original snowboard decks and bindings for international distribution. The concept for the deck and binding designs was derived by three snowboarding pioneers: Mark Girardi, one of the founders of Technine bindings, boards and apparel; indy rail-shredder Bryan Moellman; and local Burlington snowboard legend, “J3”.

“People nowadays have to buy a board for the mountain and one for jibbing or hittin’ rails, Moellman said. “But these boards are for streets, jibbing or the park.”

Eyeing an industry with ever-rising equipment prices due to snowboarding’s growing popularity, the triumvirate realized the need for realistically-priced quality snowboard packages. An additional feature of the 802 snowboards is their clean, glossed top sheet design with small, detailed outlines of the state of Vermont.

“Young people don’t often have the money to invest in all this equipment – and it is expensive, said Moellman. You have boards, bindings, clothes, and then lift tickets at the slopes. With our board and binding line, we decided to cut out all the middlemen who drive up prices and do the production and distribution ourselves. Because of that, we’re able to sell a package for $375 instead of the prices major brands charge without sacrificing board quality and binding integrity.”

http://c2ore.com/archives/?itemid=1939

Oh yeah, and here's 802actionsports' myspace page (with no mention of the defunct website):

That's kinda lame; the boards aren't meant for mountain riding and the decks are just plain black and plain white with diecut logos...

The bindings look somewhat ok though. Too bulky in my opinion.

Hahahaha, this completely slipped out from under me.

I forgot http://www.the-house.com made their own stuff. Well, their own boards at least. Their bindings are just rebranded Lamars. I had a pair on my first board... wow did they suck! LOL
