Happy, we like the base for the wide board, we were thinking a black base.

This is what the Man is thinking for the wide board.  I know it's a combo of two different boards, but this is what we're looking at.  What do you guys think?

We're like a well oiled machine with individual moving parts, working to generate a final result.

I think it feels less like a competition because:

A) There are not that many entries to begin with
B) The majority of us are artistically challenged to create something that rivals most of the professional-looking deisgn work so we're just providing our input instead.

If this board is choosen do they both get a free board? I think the base (although it looks cool) might be a little complicated. In addition, the base and top sheet design don't look related anymore...

REMEMBER THIS EVERYONE...CAPITALISM AND BUSINESS ARE BASED OFF COMPETITION. COMPETITORS NEED TO MAXIMIZE THEIR CORE STRENGHTS AND MINIMIZE THEIR WEAKNESSES. COMPLAINING AND TALKING SHIT DOES NOTHING. OTHER SHOPS NEED BECOME BETTER THAN SS IF THEY WANT TO COMPETE.

PS.
IF SS WERE IN IT JUST FOR THE MONEY WE WOULD BE MAKING OUR SHOP BOARDS WITH M3 OR LAMAR IN CHINA. THEY OPTED TO MAKE SHOP BOARD OUT OF GREAT SHAPES AND MATERIALS WITH A GREAT COMPANY

Seems like the staff will just choose the winners. Just wanted to confirm: there will be 5 winning entries? There are about 13 entries right now. This number will not be reduced to 2-3 winners regardless right?

We have 3 different boards, that means 3 winners.  Unless we use graphics from two different people on one board........ then both will get a board!!

I think the bullets make it look better. Also if that is going to be your top-sheet my vote is make the base simple (I like boards that don't have too much going on).

I think this one looks awsome! But it's not quit there yet. It is a little too busy. WHat about illiminating the black image on the base of the snowboard? Then there would be just the white and green. Or maybe just have the base be green and black and remove the white... Just suggestions.

I sent a message to the guy who designed the base and asked him if he would want to mellow it out a bit and take some of the white out.  My Palmer Liberty has a white base and it's filthy, I hate it.  So, it's just rough ideas so far, nothing is set in stone.  All input is helpful Thumbs%20Up

Whatever y'all pick, one of the boards ought to have a neon base.  My Ride Decade had a neon green base and it gave the snow underneath me a bright green underglow, like a souped up rice rocket... I'm sure you've all seen the effect at some point, it's pretty sick.

One minor detail... On my skull design, "snowboard" is plural. Which is best? Plural or singular? because I noticed the base that it's matched up with is singular. Just thought I'd point that out before things were etched in stone.

i think if you guys use the fingerprint as the base, i think it should go with the collage theme (if you plan to use or implement that idea). i think that works best but maybe that's just me.

i'd love to do a design, but i just can't think of anything right now. i totally want to do a graffiti art piece, but i have no idea what to write. Confused  plus, i think it might be too complicated, even if i simplified it.
peace.

Kind of reminds me of the Burton Idiom board from the 05/06 season...has sort of a surfy feel.

Yeah, we'll probably go with Sierra Snowboard.  Also, maybe another color for your "snowboard" Smile  It seems like that blue is not a popular color around here. LOL
