I need some new boots for this year and I',m leaning toward the Burton Hails, Ions, Shaun Whites, Boxer. The S.W's are the most comfy , and the Ions have the stiffest shell. So I dont know. But for $350? Boots shouldn't be that much.

A friend of mine swears by Salomon boots. Some of the locals in Colorado Ski and Golf swear by them too. I haven't tried any yet.

Does the hail have the smaller footprint size thing? I wear a 12 and am hoping to find a pair of boots that will fit just right on my royale.

the hail doesn't really have a smaller footprint, but I tried on the Ions today, and im leaning towards them because they have the smaller footprint, and I also tried on the Boxer (which is super light) and that also has a very small footprint.

I bought Shaun Whites about a week ago, if you walked into my house you could spot me right away because i always have them on. If your still not convinced head out and try a pair on. Walk around in them for 5-10 mins and jump around like a freak. Thats what i did Smile
