Today i took the plastic step builder at the gym and made it tall enough for the equivalent of a box/rail. I tried practicing upper and lower body separation for boardslides and lipslides. I got some funny looks from folks but my core really felt sore after about ten min of repetitions. Itd be better if i could practice with my board but id probably get kicked out for that. Since i dont have rail in my back yard i figured this was the next best thing.
I love box jumps. Been doing alt of those at the gym to build that endurance up for the great season ahead of us. Can't get fatigue on the mountain.
That's a pretty good idea to practice with, I've never tried those box jumps yet so maybe I will pick some up to try which would also maybe help me on judging height distance.
