Torah Bright Wins Overall at The Burton Global Open Series ChampionshipTAKING HOME $100,000; THE LARGEST PRIZE PURSE IN SNOWBOARDING HISTORY

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - March 23, 2007 - Roxy team rider Torah Bright continues her streak of success and is awarded the first ever Burton Global Open Series Championship title worth $100,000 - the largest single payout in snowboarding history.

Bright made it look easy by first making a strong showing in the finals at the New Zealand Open. Next she nailed first place in the Superpipe and sixth in the Slopestyle at the Nippon Open of Japan. All of this followed by an amazing second in the Slopestyle not to mention a solid third place in the Superpipe at the US Open. Torah finished the Global Open series with 32.983 points, over 2.000 points clear of her nearest competitor Kelly Clarke.

“I can’t talk - oh my goodness. It’s like I scratched a lottery ticket and won $100,000 - if only it was that easy,” gushed Bright. “It’s been a long season but I have been really happy with my consistency and so I feel this is a nice reward for a lot of hard work.”

Bright will now turn her attention to securing another major title when she competes at next weekend’s season-ending Roxy Chicken Jam. Results at this event will decide the ‘Ticket-To-Ride’ (TTR) World Snowboard Champion for 2007. Bright currently leads the ratings after a brilliant season though faces tough competition from Jamie Anderson (USA) and Kelly Clark (USA).

Torah Bright’s Winning Run:

GOLD - 2007 Burton Global Open Series Champion
GOLD - 2007 World Superpipe Championships
GOLD - 2007 Nippon Open Championships
GOLD - 2007 Winter X-Games
GOLD - 2006 US Open Halfpipe
GOLD - 2006 World Superpipe Championships
GOLD - 2006 Vans Cup

Jamie Anderson Wins 2007 Burton US Open Slopestyle

Irvine, CA - March 20, 2007 - Billabong’s young snowboarding starlet Jamie
Anderson won the slopestyle competition and the Snickers Best Trick award at
The 25th Annual US Open Snowboarding Championships on Friday.

Each competitor took three runs to earn their top score in the heavy East
Coast snow at Stratton Mountain. South Lake Tahoe local, Anderson wouldn’t
be slowed down. I flew into Vermont five days before I competed. I was so
nervous, I thought about the course everyday, says Anderson.

After a first run that included a frontside 180 indy grab, Cab 540,
frontside 360, method air and a nose press to tail press on the last rail
Anderson took the win. When I landed my Cab 5 I had no idea I was going to
win the best trick, in fact, I had forgotten about the whole best trick
thing. When I found out I won I was so happy says Anderson. Her Cab 540
earned her the Snickers Best Trick award for the day.

Jamie is such a standout this season. She’s young and extremely talented.
We are all so proud of her and her accomplishments, comments Megan
Brainard, Billabong Team Manager.

Anderson pocketed $20,000 in first place slopestyle prize money, a Motorola
cell phone, and $5,000 more in trick cash. Anderson’s the US Open women’s
winner, and remains the leader of the TTR rankings.

Congratulations Jamie!
