07/08 WINTER SEASON
Here’s your chance to get your own original artwork on a snowboard for tons to admire.
Ride Snowboards’ 6th Annual SNOWBOARD ART Design Competition will be held and exhibited towards the beginning of 2008 (exact date and location TBD). This year’s Grand Prize winner will receive $1000 cash and a one-of-a-kind Ride Snowboard featuring the winning artwork. The Top 30 works including Best of Show and Runner-Ups will be exhibited at the Opening Reception, and the Top 50 online at www.ridesnowboards.com/culture.
FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE: DECEMBER 14, 2007
Execute your design based on the 2008 Official Snowboard Template (download PDF) and follow the entry guidelines below.
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to residents of every country. Digital Entries Only
AWARDS for Ride’s SNOWBOARD ART 6
Best of Show: $1000 and a one-of-a-kind Ride Snowboard featuring the winning artwork
1st Runner-Up: $500 and a pair of Ride Bindings
2nd Runner-Up: $300 and a pair of Ride Boots
3rd Runner-Up: $200 and a Ride Jacket and Pant Combo
TO ENTER:
On or before NOV 16, 2007 send the INTENT TO ENTER FORM and your ENTRY FEE to Ride
Snowboards.
At this point, you have a month to finalize your concept. INTENT TO ENTER is a data-gathering, RSVP courtesy for Ride’s exhibit installation staff.
Please include:
• A completed INTENT TO ENTER FORM with the appropriate blanks filled in.
• Your entry fee: $40 for one (1) and/or two (2) entries, OR $60 for three (3) entries. (If you would like to wire transfer your entry fee, please email rider@ridesnowboards.com for directions.)

TO SUBMIT WORK FOR JURYING:
Entries must be received no later than DEC 14, 2007. Mail your entry on CD (write your name & confirmation # on the CD) along with the ENTRY FORM, or upload your digital entry to the Ride FTP Site along with the ENTRY FORM. Your name & confirmation # should be your file name when uploading.
SIZE COUNTS
Finished work must be designed to fit within the image area of the 2008 Official Snowboard Template provided. Do not resize the template. Finished dimension of the snowboard deck (and your finished artwork) tip to tail is approximately the same size as the provided 2008 Official Snowboard Template. The final entry submitted must be 300dpi, saved in jpg format. Vertical viewing.
