Salomon Snowboard Athlete, Jamie Anderson, has been nominated for a 2007 ESPYS Award for Best Female Action Sport Athlete. Jamie was nominated for her outstanding accomplishments in snowboarding. The ESPYS awards, presented by Lebron James and Jimmy Kimmel, are the equivalent to the Oscars for athletes. The world’s biggest stars in sports and entertainment will take the stage for the 15th annual celebration to be televised, Sunday, July 15 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Jamie Anderson has been nominated for Best Female Action Sport Athlete along with Layne Beachley, Elissa Steamer, Torah Bright, and Sarah Burke for her impressive performance this winter. At 16 years old, Jamie’s accomplishments for 2007 include gold medals in the Winter X Games Slopestyle, the U.S Open Slopestyle event, the European Roxy Chicken Jam Slopestyle, and the Rail Jam at the Nippon Open.
