Excellent Binding
- 05/02/2008
by Pagorn Chunmuang (Oakland Gardens, NY US)
The Cartels blend responsiveness and comfort at a price that's easy to swallow. These bindings provide enough options for adjustment to suit almost any stance option comfortably. Although it doesn't have the padding of the gel baseplates found on the P1s and CO2s (which I also own), the EVA cushioning provides adequate shock absorption. Just be aware that to avoid snapping the highback, fold down your rear binding before getting on the lift. The highback takes some riding around to get used to since they are stiffer, so I recommend that you get familiar with them first before taking it into the park. But once, I got used to them, they provided ample response. These are great bindings that provide response and comfort while being lightweight.
Burton Cartel Rocks

by Joe Gonzales (Blaine, WA US)
This is the first Burton Bindings I own and they are better than my previous bindings. The straps lock in securely and is easy to unlock. The highback may not be a favorite of others but it certainly provides lots of support and helps in the responsiveness at heelside. Overall I think they are the best bindings out there.
great ginding

I just bought the cartel 08's and there perfect for what I have. I have a Burton custom 08 and they give me the most control that I ever had of the board its great. I think the Burton cartels are great with the backplate.
Its a great buy so do it!
Very comfortable

The Cartel bindings are mad comfortable and look good too. I had mission bindings before and they seem like stone age material now. They also have great response.
Burton Cartel Bindings are Awesome
- 10/04/2007
by Paul Gergio Montique (Portland, OR)
The Burton Cartel Bindings are perfect. I put them on my Burton Custom and get the ride I need. When freestyle riding the Cartel's will give you just enough flex.
