5/12/2008 1:25:32 PM FUNNY!!!!!!  Pretty much carries on from the first one.  Its a stoner movie, so if youlike to laugh at stuff like that, its entertaining, particularly the part where the president is getting high.   Anyhow, more importantly, I HAVE to get a hold of some of that "Grape Pop" that was in the movie.  If anyone knows where to find it, let me know.  I need a case or two for when I have family over.
5/3/2008 9:48:50 AM In a drunken rage last night, my girlfriend and I watched Smokey and the Bandit and have concluded that it is the single greatest hillbilly movie ever made in history.  My personal favorite line was when Bufford T Justice told his son, "boy, as soon as we get home, I'm gonna punch yo momma in the mouth"   Classic!!!!
4/28/2008 3:55:01 PM Can't believe its been 1000 posts!  I would like to thank Sierrasnowboard.com for allowing me to be the whore that I am.   All of you guys and gals rock!  Except for Hoon, who I still can't forgive for killing my Half-life jacket at Baker.......
4/25/2008 2:34:13 PM Other than storage size, what is the difference between the "Classics" and "Video" etc? Filled up my Iphone with movies and just want something with more space so I can watch stuff when I'm travelling.  For the life of me it doesn't seem like there is anything in them.  Apple is selling refurbishe 60GB classics for 209 including shipping. 160gb is only 299.
4/25/2008 10:58:46 AM Damn, as many of my bretheren know I am an avid motorcycle fan.  I went through the hassle of importing a Honda RVF400 from Japan last year, then got it street legal (big hassle, this bike was never sold here, there are probably less than 30 street legal ones in the states).   Well I got a thing in the mail yesterday that they are revoking my plates!!!!!!  On top of that, they wont even send me the title (I never requested it from the DMV) until I send the plates back in.   So, now I have criminal plan B going, found out that they are going to title it as an ATV, though the title will say "Honda Motorcycle" and doesn't indicate "for off road use only".  It appears that either Wasington or Idaho will let me plate it if the title doesn't say that.  I'm ticked about it though my other riding season means a lot to me and this will be a huge crimp in it if it doesn't work.  Other option is to register it in Florida, but I don't have a house there so it could get tricky.
4/3/2008 9:12:04 PM Was there an 08 version?  Did anyone get a ride on one?  Been having thoughts about finding one on and off for a couple of seasons now.  I missed out on a Platinum on ebay earlier this year, but for some reason today I was thinking about it.  I got a good morning speed session on the custom x and had forgotten how fast it was for a while since I have been on the skate banana so much this year.
4/3/2008 8:25:19 PM I need to grow some mold in a bottle, so that it can be sprayed in a liquid form somehow and continue in its wonerful life.   You really don't want to know why I need to do this, so just go with me on this one.  I have been googling this for an hour now.  Amazing that people actually do this for a hobby.  Anyhow, it seems everyone just gets bread wet and leaves it outside.  My problem is I need to be able to spray the spores on a surface.   I'm thinking bread and a bottle of water for a couple of days, but I don't know if it will work and I kinda need a working answer asap.   Thank you, and you can now return to your regularly scheduled programing.
3/17/2008 12:59:19 PM Ok guys, I am getting ready to clean out the closet.  Moved downtown and don't have the garage space I used too.  That and my love for all things Banana means some of these are never getting ridden again.    I may end up putting everything on ebay, figured I would put them out there for a few days and see what kind of offers I get and go from there.  Pics to come throught the week:   Lib Tech Travis Rice 161.5 2 faced donkaphunk board.  Probably the best graphic ever of the Trice series, the one that started it all!  25 days or so on this board.  Minimal wear etc.  There is a repaired section on the nose that you can barely tell anything happened.  The edges on most Lib boards are not steel all the way around, just plastic on the tip and tail so easy to repair.  Most of you know about these so no need to describe.   Rome Lumbergh 156.  1 of 300.  Artifact twin shape with an Agent core.  This was the Rome special edition from a couple years ago.  Has about 10 days on it tops.  mid-wide, tons of pop, super stable.  Fun stick actually.  Has a lot of edge grip for a park board, and is awesome on kickers.  Some binding marks and a little edge wear here and there.    Burton Aura (05-06 I think, sierra used to sell them) 164 2x.  Another cool board has the shape of the old school Supermodel.  its skinny though, only a 24.8ww so keep that in mind despite its length.  Excells at high speed carving and powder.  Great free-ride board.  Super nimble in tree's despite its length.  Only got a couple of days in on this one.   Burton Malolo 158 (06-07 season).  Everyone knows about these.  Kills it in the powerder and is actually not bad on groomers.  I think it has a bit of pop as well.    Head Team ICT 158  (06?)  The board that Steve Fisher won his first X-Games gold with.  Has the Head "chip" in it.  What this does is actually alter the flex characteristics of the board while you are riding at the speed of light.  Sounds crazy technical, but it actually works!!  Stiffens up like craz when you are railing and hit some ice.  Softens a bit when you it the powder.  That said, this is an advanced type of stick, similiar in nature to a Palmer Crown LE or T6.  Super fast and stiff, tons of pop.  Kills it in pipe (which I suck at), huge kickers, free-riding.  Too stiff for rails tc though.  This one has base damage that has been repaired at REI.  I took it up one day at Timberline and rode over some shallow snow with rocks on it.  I use it as an early/late season board now.  Orignally a 650 dollar board and was worth every penny.  I may actually keep this one.   Rome Design 162 (04-05) first season of the design.  This bad boy has over 100 days on it I would guess.  Somehow its till snappy and stiff and the base is in great condition. Comes with a full sticker job ( I bought this board used so don't blame me).  Floats in powder like a dream and is a twin tip so you can have some back-country free-style fun.  I'm keeping either this or the head for early/late season conditions so if one sells then the other is off the market.    For outerwear I have on 06 Idiom 3L jacket all black that I may let go of as well.  One of my friends has been eyeing it for a while so I'll give him first dibs.   Also, anyone local to Portland, I have a full dumbbell set from 2 pounds to 55 pounds plus a stand that I'll let go for 350 and I might sell one of my sets of olympic weights (Ivanko's, some of the best out there).  Old house had a dedicated gym, b
3/14/2008 10:06:00 AM   Someone hacked my papayl and managed to get 3 grand out of it.  The good news is that Paypal froze the account and recovered the money.  The bad news is they won't give it back to me!!!   They wanted copies of my bank statements to prove its my account.  The problem is my bank does not put account numbers on bank statements so people can't steal your mail.   Then they wanted my drivers license to prove my address.....Well in Oregon, if you move recently (which I have), instead of giving you a new license, they just give you a sticker with the new address to put on it.  So it looks fake to the people at paypal.   Been on the phone with them forever.  While I was on the phone with them, the person who hacked my account actually logged in and tried to do it again!!!   Such a great start to the morning.  The worst part is the item I won on ebay was a part for my bike, that if i don't get, will take forever to find again.  I contacted the seller to pay him directly, but he wants paypal only....   Word to the wise, check your Paypal accounts for random email addresss that are added to it.  Paypal advised me this happens all the time.
2/6/2008 12:50:16 PM Are there other sources for media and music that I can download to my Iphone other than Itunes?  Unlike most apple stuff, it seems like I can never find anything I want on Itunes.  Will the Iphone store and play Mp3's off of limewire etc?   I'm not a technical guy, so small words would be appreciated.
1/27/2008 6:11:37 AM Woke up early and checked the computer, we got more dumpage!!!!   Headed up now, look for the guy on the banana and the Nitraid outfit if you are going.
1/12/2008 2:57:06 PM One of my friends has taken up boarding and is now looking for his own board.  Anyone got reccomendations for someone this big?  I was thinking of looking for an old Lib Tech Doughboy or something like that.  He wears a size 12 boot as well, nothing too crazy, just a little on the heavy side.
12/29/2007 10:58:16 PM Anyone want to tell me whats the best deal at around a grand to 1400 or less?  I need it for work mainly.  I keep multiple web browsers open all the time, and work on word and excel mainly, so I'm not really pushing the computer hard.  Needs to be easily networkable and one of those fingerprint things for security is probably a great idea.  I saw some HP tablet PC's for around 1100 with a ton of features, but I hear bad things about them. Here are some I'm looking at Dell XPS M1330, huge sale on it and price is down to around 1300 http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsnb_m1330?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~tab=bundlesta Sony:  http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=348100&pfp=dec30 Other ideas?  Things to look for?  Great deals out there?  I don't care if its a refurb or anything like that, as long as i get some kind of warranty.  Needs a DVDRW drive, but I think just about everything has that now.  Decent screen size and long battery.
12/6/2007 9:51:07 AM I can't figure out what I ever did.  First they start actively enforcing the leash law.  Now if you don't carpool with at least three people, you can't park in the main lot on "peak" days!!!!!  Peak days being every weekend or day I could likely go. So I get punished because i get up two hours before everyone else, get there early to enjoy a 20 dollar bagel and can't even get the pleasure of parking within a mile of the stupid resort?
11/26/2007 8:06:55 AM It was a bluebird day on Mt. Hood Meadows.  Went up with two runs open, strangely there was 14 inches of fluff in some places with absolutely no base.  Meaning your board could sink through the powder onto the grass underneath it. I had less of a problem with it than others it seemed.  Otherwise it was packed snow and man-made everywhere, the website says 14 inch base, but I think they are taking that at the deepest points of the fluff, I would guess closer Anyhow, put the girlfriend into a 2 hour lesson and simply dorked around for a while and played around on some bumps, it felt great to finally board again! The good news is after the 2 hour lesson, I was expecting to find my girlfriend at the bar and ready to be told she was never boarding again.  After hunting around the lodge for 40 minutes and not finding her, I finally went back to the buttercup run, and there she was practicing some more on her own!  Looks like she is down to get better.  Meadows has a great deal on multiple lessons, so she is signed up for them now. The word is a bunch of storms headed our way, so hopefully the 14 inch base improves a little.
