4/24/2012 9:34:01 AM Hey everyone! Looking to see who had their season cut short, whay happen, how it happened, etc. Be serious, dont embelish.
1/10/2012 8:23:01 AM I see that TruSnow carries endeavor snowboards but there are no reviews. Does anyone have any experience riding them or have any friends that do? As much information as possible would be great. All I really know is they are built in Vancouver, Canada and have been around for about a decade.
1/5/2012 8:21:20 AM Has anyone had a demo of this board or own it? I am looking at it purely as a park board. Lots of slides and presses in mind but I want a little pop to it. It is supposed to be super flexy, somewhere around a 2-3, dogfunk says its their softest board. It appeals to me so much because its a rocker board, which I am interested in a non traditional camber, soft, and it comes in wide, which I benefit from greatly because i wear 12-13. I was also checking out the CAPiTA Horrorscope FK Wide.
12/27/2011 9:50:22 AM I am looking for bindings, new or used for my girlfriend for a surprise. Ideally I would like new or gently used. I am looking for Union as my first choice, Rome as my second and Burton as third. Need something to fit a 5.5/6 Women's or 3.5-4 in Men's. Open for other suggestions in Brands
12/27/2011 7:25:26 AM From Transworld Business: After two years of development, anon is rolling ouut its M1 Goggle, which takes the speed lens-change arms race to a whole new level. “It features a new technology we’ve developed called Magna-Tech,” explains RED/anon Brand Manager Randy Torcom. “Magna-Tech is the fastest and most advanced solution to swapping lens tints on the fly. Magnets are constructed in the frame and lens which make the engagement/disengagement process simple enough to swap lenses without even taking the goggle frame off your face. No matter what conditions the mountain throws at you, the M1 will have you covered.” The anon team is in the process of filing for a patent on Magna-Tech and will debut the goggle—which will retail for $219.95 for the premium style and $199 for the painted style and include two lenses for different light conditions—at SIA. Me: Have you seen these goggles? They are pretty awesome and truth be told, with how annoying lens changing can be, I sometimes just pick one for the day and deal with it. Do you think that the retail prices are worth this tough? I have not worn Anon but do you find the optic quality as good as other brands specifically Oakley? Also, even if these goggles are worth the price to deal with the hassle, I would expect additional lenses to cost double what a pair costs now.
12/22/2011 4:50:29 PM I did a search of the site for the subject title and no results came up. I was just wondering who out there was a member of the Grenade Army, what they think about it, etc? Grenade has a lot of gear I think is cool, especially their gloves, I do wish they made higher performance gear though. I don't believe they currently have a coat or pant that is 15k or higher or even gore-tex
11/22/2011 9:20:47 AM I checked a search and could not find a general topic of Union Bindings. I am very interested in going with union but forces are just out my at price range right now. I see that that the DLX and Flite are geared towards park but what does flex in the binding really change? I mean what will I notice from say the Flight to the Contact. I live in the midwest, so I will not be carving insane amounts of POW on a regular basis. What do others think of those bindings? If I was going to get the DLX or Flight, which one would you go with and why?
11/20/2011 9:08:35 AM I am looking to not spend a lot of $$$ but I want to go to CO because it is a driveable distance to snowboard. I am looking for lodging and lift ticket deals for 2 people. It would be either around the 2nd week of January or 2-3rd week of February. I would want 2 nights, maybe 3. Anyone able to give me some help or direction? I want to surprise the girl for either her bday or for vday.
11/18/2011 8:17:53 AM I am looking for pants that are higher than 10k/10k and wanted to know what sort of pants other people shred in? I want a baggy fit but not super baggy. Suggestions? Also what luck have you had with yours? Have you ever found the higher ratings to be overkill?
9/26/2011 1:43:17 PM What are you selling? Model? Year? Color? Show me pics. If there is a good deal shipped, I am looking to buy. If not, I will likely get a pair of DLXs, contact or flite from 2012.
9/21/2011 6:08:04 AM I am looking at buying the 2012 flites but I would like to hear some more feedback from those with experience in them or other bindings to look at with the same price point.
8/30/2011 4:48:10 AM Looking for a pair of green 1st choice or white union force bindings. I am looking for a good deal but that means I would pay promptly. Let me know if you have anything. Thanks
3/15/2011 10:03:50 AM We are riding Afton this week, Friday, maybe Saturday too. Base still has 45" - 62", hoping it holds out, 50s temp this week. Anyone know how the riding has been? Bring it out and ride with us if you want.
3/14/2011 11:47:08 AM I did a site search, did not see any posts about this but the cinematography is awesome and I cannot wait to see it. http://www.artofflightmovie.com
2/28/2011 7:20:49 PM 3 of us are looking into buying reverse camber boards for next year. Each one of us are looking for something with considerable flex 5 at the very most, but the more flex, we feel the better. I need a wide board, so 25.5+cm, but being a taller guy, I would like a shorter board, something 151-155 area. We are looking for suggestions on boards. We are interested in CAPiTA and Lib-Tech/GNU, but open to suggestions. We are looking for purely screw around, butter-butter-butter, hit the park, do goofy fun looking random things but quality is important without breaking the bank. Please, give us some personal feedback, ABSOLUTELY NO BURTON BOARDS. Looking for Pros, Cons, and actually could use the little extra info on where the board is built. Thanks for all the upcoming posts.
