11/11/2011 7:51:25 AM Not sure if anyone else has posted this already but... MUST HAVE. These look awesome! http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/burton-announces-star-wars-themed-snowboards-and-helmet-09-11-2011/
11/9/2011 11:56:46 AM Hi, I received this e-mail after placing an order yesterday: "At this time your order is on hold until the verification process is complete and we hear back from the card holder. If you are not the card holder, or have corrected information from what you put on your order, please call our order validations department at 1-866-986-7669. We will ask a few questions, update your changes, verify with the bank the updated information, and get your order going. The process only takes a few minutes." However, I've called the # about 7-8 times at different times of the day, every time I get a message saying "All circuits are busy, please try again later". Do you have an alternate customer service # for them? Thanks
8/23/2011 9:07:33 AM Has anyone seen/used these and have any feedback on them? Saw a couple for sale and was thinking about getting one. Thanks for the help
5/9/2011 11:38:41 AM Sup Guys, I just finished prepping my boards for storage Saturday and low and behold, I hear that it snowed yesterday and today in Truckee. I have 1 free all day voucher for squaw, but I don't think my friends nor I will be making it up to the mountain. It would be terrible to let it go to waste. Send me a pm, first PM gets the voucher in the mail. Squaw is open until May 30th.. I don't mind paying the 40 cent stamp for you, lol.
4/18/2011 2:59:53 PM Hi Guys, Last week I was eating in a restaurant with a group of 5 others... and I got a call on my phone. Reception was terrible, couldn't hear the person on the other end, call ended up dropping a few seconds later. I tried calling back and all I got were voicemails, I looked at my reception and it showed 1 bar. 2 others in the group share the same service as I do, ATT, and they also had crappy reception! However, 2 people in the party had Verizon... they lent me their phone to use and voila... full bars... clear voice... no problem.. I was able to call the person back. So it got me thinking, after 11 years with ATT, is it time to switch? I've noticed a lot of dropped calls lately via ATT, and my 3g internet seems to be slow (can't compare to other carriers so it might be just in my mind). Anyways, now that my contract is up I'm thinking about switching. Anyone have experience with more than one carrier and can offer an opinion? It's a business line, so I use the phone a lot, including the internet.. so having 4g capability would be a bonus. Also, I can never get decent reception in Tahoe either... don't know if this is all mobile phones or just ATT. Thanks for the help!
4/12/2011 5:45:36 PM I just bought one of these bad boys, and was thinking of using a variety of mounts to stick it to the car, snowboard, etc... Question for people who have done this, do you use any sort of leash for added security, and if so, where and what did you buy? Example.. if you wanted to attach the cam to your snowboard, I would use a leash to strap it to my leg just in case it came loose. Thanks for your help
3/22/2011 11:24:22 AM Hi Peoples, Just trying to plan out my last 2 trips of the season in April... I am mostly a freerider, just beginning to dabble in the park a bit... I've been to northstar about 8x this year, heavenly, sierra and boreal all once this year as well. Bear Valley vs Dodge Ridge... Both are about 3 hours from my house, I have free tickets to both.. which would you choose? Kirkwood vs Squaw I do have a buy one get one free at kirkwood which makes it a little more attractive... heard good things about both. Anyone try both? Thanks for the opinions!
3/15/2011 12:55:37 PM Hi Guys, This is the first time I've ever put a video together... any feedback is appreciated. Just a couple of buddies of mine hanging out a north*... we are all just learning to board (our first season). If you are looking for some mad jumps and sick jibs... don't watch this video lol Was made using Cyberlink Power DVD.. anyone have any better programs? It seemed limited in what I could do or maybe I just didn't know how to use it.. heh http://vimeo.com/21056464 [tube]http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=21056464[/tube]
3/9/2011 9:03:57 AM Hey Guys, I've recently started messing around in the terrain park, going rails and some of the smaller jumps. From watching vids of myself I've noticed that I always seem to be landing towards my tail side (back foot), and when I've gone for big air I always end up with front of my board pointed far too skyward and eat it hard on my ass. This happens on big jumps, and off of rails too (since it's not much air though i'm able to land it find and keep going) Anyone have any tips for setting myself up to land better and keeping my board pointed down the mountain better? Thanks in advance for any pointers.
3/3/2011 4:01:26 PM http://oakleyvault.com/catalog?N=7+100812+101081&cm_mmc=CJ-_-AFFILIATE-_-404255-_-10676668 Not sure if I'm allowed to post this here on TruSnow since they sell goggles too, but figured it was a good deal and didn't want people to miss out. If it's not allowed I hope someone closes this thread down.. lol Good goggle sale for anyone who needs at Oakley, picked up a couple for me and my buddies, free ship after $100 too! Sale is good for both men's and women's goggles. see you on the slopes!
1/28/2011 12:14:05 PM Hi, Just ordered the Sierra stunt with Rome s90 package... it's the first board I've ever bought, question is, is a stomp pad included? Some people i've asked says sometimes they include, sometimes they don't. if they don't, can I add it to my order before it ships out? Thanks...
