1/7/2009 8:52:28 AM So I know the member profile page shows any threads started by a user, but is there a way to search all posts by user? When I try and use the advanced forum search (when it's working) it doesn't return any results if I leave the keyword blank  and just populate user-name....
1/3/2009 4:58:51 PM I know there was a thread about this last year, but with the forum search not working, I'll be damned if I can find it. Someone (can't remember who) put the burton molded cap on the union forces and, if I recall, loved it. Anyone got more info? Worth doing, esp w/ a Burton boot? Any issues w/ parts fitting, etc?
12/31/2008 9:20:59 AM I picked up a pair of Burton Hails the end of last season, and they're super comfy (I even wear them to snowblow the driveway, since they're drier and warmer than anything else I own) but whenever I wear them out riding, I end up with my outside of my left foot and last 2 toes numb at the end of the day. I don't have noticeable pinch points while wearing the boots until my toes start to get numb, so I'm not sure the issue. I haven't heat molded the boots yet, but I'm wondering if that will help at all? Any advice?
12/19/2008 8:31:51 AM So I've got a 3 yr old who is totally set on the idea of Santa bringing him a snowboard (just like his dad). I took him out last weekend, but was told he should ski, rather than board, given how young he was. He had fun skiing (and so did I, after 12 years away) but I still would like to get him on a board. Anyone have any tales or advice on teaching a pre-schooler to ride? Tricks, tools, etc?
4/16/2008 12:27:46 PM When shopping for boots, I realize fit and comfort is king. Is there anything that one needs to worry about as far as compatibility with bindings? Are certain brands not as compatible with certain other brands?
4/10/2008 12:05:17 PM I know Burton has a few different model capstraps on their various bindings this year. What are the ones that Sierra has for sale in the tools & tuning section? (or does Burton only sell one version of the capstraps separate from the binders?)
4/10/2008 9:40:23 AM I'm trying to get a sense of what the new Cartels feel like. Can someone tell me what Burton changed from last years model to this year's?
4/8/2008 10:34:27 AM I've been eyeing this board for a little bit, but can't find it local to really get my hands on it. My question is how stiff is this board? I'm looking at the 161W for myself, but not sure if it's the right board for me. I'm a beginner looking for a board to last me the next few years. I'm 6'2", 200lbs, size 11 Burton Hails, looking to mostly ride grooms on the east coast, but still have something I can take into the park or the glade as I get more adventurous in my riding.
4/8/2008 6:35:43 AM Hey all-- Looking for some advice on my first board purchase. I've narrowed it down to the 2 boards above (mostly due to lack of availability of other boards I was looking at). Any advice? Key stats: 6'2", 200lbs, size 11 Burton Hail boots, ride mainly New England resorts, beginner rider looking for a board to grow with me, expect to be mostly hitting the groom with the rare "for fun" trip into the park (very rare--should have started this sport before 30).
