4/2/2010 12:09:56 PM Let's Go, Get Lost wins for me, with Shine On in a close second. ISenSeven really is becoming my favorite film company as of late, they just seem to do it right and their soundtracks are by far the best (IMO) Neverland was a disappointment considering all the hype.  Airblaster was a super fun movie too, those guys just seem like they know how to have fun anywhere. What did you guys like best, feel free to post a separate one if i didn't list your favorite.

3/15/2010 2:58:42 PM Season start date:   11/28/2009 Season end date:     5/15/2010  (41 days) Favorite new gear:   Nike Kaiju's, boots are so important. Injuries:  Torn rotator cuff, bone bruise on shin (possibly shin splints) Favorite spot you rode this season:  pow day @ steamboat was the best day of the year, tree run under orient express in vail was my favorite run Total amount spent on lift tickets/passes: $900 ($600 epic pass, $25 for a day at echo, $25 for loveland closing day, and $250 for 4 lift tix for the 2 palooza dates) Random Thoughts:  This was my first full legit season (15 days last year mostly on the east coast) i think that i progressed a ton, and the 35+ riding days in color ado totally justified my move out here, I had a blast. I can't wait to get a full season in Colorado next year. (missed oct/november this year)

3/9/2010 8:58:50 AM Since I got my truck I don't have a need for this setup anymore. This setup includes everything you need for a Subaru legacy, or any car (you'd just have to buy the correct clips for your model if you dont have a subaru, which would be around $60 at any REI) This will  hold 4 snowboards or 6 pairs of ski's This full setup costs $517 straight from Yakima Selling at $300 including shipping.  I can arrange a cheaper price if you want to pick it up in/around denver. Includes: - 44" Fairing - 48" Crossbars - Q78 clips - Big Powderhound w/ locks & keys PM with any questions.  (Yes, i'll take the super core capita/holden stickers off for you if you prefer)
3/7/2010 4:42:11 PM Just saying.
3/2/2010 7:36:53 PM Buy your package for the weekend here! Update for those coming tonight (Friday): Dinner is at 7pm at the lodge/hotel tonight!  Two kegs and more for booze.... be there. We'll have lift tickets available at 9am at the Judah lodge for those picking up lift tickets. If you need to, Private Message me for my cell number to contact me tomorrow if you can't make it by nine.  ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4/13/10 Updates: I haven't been able to verify rooming yet, as Jiggly posted, the hours of the staff are Wed - Fri. But, here's the initial layout.  I asked for anyone who was coming with someone to let me know and I'd room you together.  If you didn't contact me, you very well may not be roomed together.  I have already sent this to the hotel, so unless stated otherwise by them, it is confirmed and will not be changed. Queen size beds will typically need to by shared.  Some rooms are okay to get a roll-out in, but many are not.  Please check the hotel-layout to determine if you're in a room where a roll-out is okay before trying to possibly request one.   Room 201 Jenn Brody 202 Mike Nicki 203 Lil Paul 204 HC Rider IL Low 208 Carmen Carmen +1 209 Rylab Rylab +1 210 Zoe Joel 211 Rexy E 212 Wingnutx Wingnutx+1 Wingnutx+2 Wingnutx+3 Switch Hitter 214 Felipe Hector Jose Mark Victor Cristian 215 Donald David 216 Tat Hana 217 Travis Erik Ben 218 Migs Migs+1 Migs+2 219 Andy DLaw Weed ShayneG 220 Mattaleao Keith Kale Ananas 300 Jaboogie Jaboogie +1 DCDomain 303 Shaka MTPow Bru Rzero 305 Duneluder Eyedolon Jiggly Kylaks 308 Jr Noel 309 Levi Chelsey Stacey T 310 P3 CadillacTramps Rosebud And, as usual, you will check in as normal and put your CC down for incidentals when we get there. Please make sure to have some directions to Sugar Bowl..... just in case you plan to caravan, but for some reason get separated. 629 Sugar Bowl Road Norden, CA 95724 To get to the hotel, park at the Gondola parking structure (underground).  There will be a parking area on your left, and a lodge and the parking structure on your right as you drive towards Sugar Bowl.  You really can't miss it.   You can unload at the loading bay, or just carry your stuff through the parking structure to the gondola.  Either way, it's up to you.  Load it up and we'll see you there!  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4.5.10 Updates This package deal is for two nights lodging (Friday & Saturday), two days riding (Saturday & Sunday), and four meals for the weekend. We will be staying at the on-hill lodge at Sugar Bowl for the weekend. Once the package is booked, it is non-refundable. If you are looking for just lift tickets to come ride with us, you can purchase them using the coupon code 'sierrapalooza'. Tickets alone are $49/day. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *EDITED by Jenn* 3.31.10 I talked to Mike about getting you guys some numbers yesterday and he was still working on it today.  Plan for around $250-$300ish (give or take) for the weekend.... rooming, lift tickets & four meals from Friday night thru Sunday afternoon.  If you budget for that, you should be fine.  These are rough numbers because I still do not have specifics, so it is subject to change. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I know phatmanpalooza doesn't even start for a few weeks, but the Tahoe event is right on it's heels. I realize that the hotel/lift pass stuff won't be worked out for about a month, I just wanted to start the conversation about people giving rides/places to stay/etc. I'm looking to buy my tickets in the next week or so - Probably flying in to Reno Friday morning, and leaving Sunday night (southwest flights leave at 7PM, dont know if this is a problem) I'd like to avoid renting a car if possible, so if anyone want's to offer a spot in their whip - i'd appreciate! (Ride from reno to tahoe and tahoe to reno fri/sun) Looking forward to Tahoe Round 2 now that I can link turns. Hope everyone from last year can make it again.
2/28/2010 9:14:25 PM Posting this for my friend. She's looking to sell her 146 Gnu B-Pro.  The below pictures are when the board was still new, there is a small chip in the top-sheet and normal wear and tear on the base but nothing crazy.  I'm waiting for her to send me updated pictures and I will update the thread when I have them.   The board is in very good condition, she doesn't do any park. She is asking for $300 including shipping OBO.  PM me with any questions/offers     Good Wood Winner! ABOUT GNU B Pro BTX Snowboard - Women's 2009 GNU B Pro BTX Snowboard - Women's 2009: This isn’t just a board – it’s a work of love and labor. The Gnu B –Pro BTX Snowboard is a pro model Barrett Christy has been fine tuning for over a decade winning Banked Slalom’s, X Game medals and riding epic snow all over the world. She has been working with Gnu designers, fine tuning flexes, sidecuts, widths, shapes and more. In addition to having a board with the new Magne-Traction (MTX) shape, Barrett has taken the next step forward adding Banana Technology to her line as well. Banana Traction (BTX) allows the board to excel in all snow conditions, terrain and opens doors to new levels of freestyle progression. To top it off, the 2009 Gnu B-Pro BXT graphics are sick, flowing with Hannah Stouffer’s art, bamboo, and an eco-snakeskin textured topsheet material. Directional Twin Shape with Banana-Traction (BTX): Banana Technology and Magne-traction combined – Banana is revolutionary snowboard geometry (licensed from Lib Tech) featuring a “banana” rocker between your feet and flat to the tip and tails. The middle of your board is brought to life and the ends become more catch free to float or climb through tight transitions. Magne-traction gives you better control and edge hold with multiple points of contact on your edge. Slice through any snow condition, think of Magne-traction as a serrated knife blade cutting through the snow. Sandwich EISS 9 construction with UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) sidewalls, Sintered 9900 base Mervin AG2 Core: A perfect combination of Aspen and EISS 9 layered endgrain Birch. 2/9/2010 3:21:04 PM Looks like google street view may be coming to a resort near you.  Would be pretty cool to checkout trails before going on a trip. http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2010/02/vancouver-forecast-light-winds.html
2/9/2010 12:53:12 PM Not entirely ready to go mattaleaolikestodance, but. I've been toying with the idea of selling my 2005 Legacy GT LTD, as I want a crossover or an SUV.  Been driving cars my whole life and I want something higher profile and something I can carry more sh*t in.  Like a bike, or a couple dead bodies. If you might have interest in the car, PM me and I can give you way more details, i'm not going to list the stock features as they are pretty easy to find on the interwebs. - Car has 85K miles on it (rounding up) it's in perfect working order, the whole car is stock. - Will be looking to get $13,500 (obo) to pay off what i owe - Car still has 3 years/30,000 miles left on the extended warranty I purchased and it's fully transferable. - I'm in Denver - I (will) have all the service records for the life of the car, as it has been serviced at the dealership my father works at it's entire life. - I'll take high-res photos of the car assuming there is genuine interest - Comes with Yakima roof rack & Professionally Installed FM modulator for iPhone/iPod use - Teleport button included
