2/4/2010 6:56:46 PM Since everyone likes to hate on this fact, I wanted to consolidate into 1 thread for easy viewing, access.  Apologies to people who don't know me or don't care about this, this is slightly an inside joke with a bunch of people on here who know me (and some who don't but just like to talk trash for the sake of it) but feel free to jump on the bandwagon though.  I currently have 36 days on snow spread over 2 seasons/1 calendar year.  The days spent on specific gear are in bold and are estimated, please allow +/- 1 to these numbers Here is my gear history, in chronological order.  If I'm forgetting anything please let me know. 1/24/2010 9:46:03 PM Just wanted to shout out to everyone on the Sierra staff for putting this together, was another super successful event, even though it was 3x the size of last years you guys pulled it off. I cant speak for everyone on the trip, but Keith, Eric & I had a great time.  The hotel was super, the people were good, and riding was amazing. Bruizza brought the powder again, he is some sort of weird southern lucky charm.  Keep him around I suppose. Looking forward to Tahoe.
1/20/2010 1:02:17 PM 2008 triads, brand new, 1 day - bruizza got too gnar in the park on monday and cracked em.  I have the worst luck with bindings
1/17/2010 7:29:15 AM Just curious what everyones preferred lacing system is when they purchase boots. Mine was speed zone, but I've had some bad experiences with Salomon's.  (loosening up every other run) The speed lacing system was pretty solid on the Ion's i rode last season however. I've now switched to standard lacing, going to see how that works out.

12/31/2009 3:28:58 PM http://espn.go.com/action/snowboarding/news/story?id=4786214 Thursday afternoon, while practicing in the halfpipe at Park City Mountain Resort, Olympic snowboard hopeful and Burton Global Team rider Kevin Pearce was seriously injured when he hit his head on the wall of the halfpipe. Pearce was taken to the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City and, according to a New York Times report, underwent surgery to relieve fluid buildup in his brain. Pearce is coming off a concussion sustained earlier this month during a qualifying run at the Copper Mountain Grand Prix. Pearce's parents, Simon and Pia Pearce, are on their way to Salt Lake City from their home in Norwich, Vt., as well as his agent, Sue Izzo, who said further details are not being released at this time. Our thoughts are with Kevin and his family.
12/30/2009 5:49:02 PM Video is in the link below, pretty nuts. I was at this milosport back in May with Keith, met the owner.  Real good dude. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=9184582 Brazen burglar takes unusual measures to rob local business December 30th, 2009 @ 6:24pm By Amanda Butterfield SALT LAKE CITY -- Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies are looking for a thief who broke into a sporting goods store earlier this month. He got away with thousands of dollars worth of equipment, but how he did it is what's interesting. "He smashed both windows and ran a chain through the doors, hooked it up to his jeep and ripped the doors open. It's pretty brazen, especially on a main road like this," said Josh Roberts, who works at Milosports. Roberts was one of the first people called when the alarm went off at the store around 3:45 in the morning on Dec. 19. The store's surveillance cameras caught the suspect breaking into Milosport by using his truck to pull down the doors and windows. "Look at the tape," Roberts said. "It's an adult, someone who should be responsible, get a job and buy stuff if they need it." The burglar got away with a lot. "About 40 pieces of outerwear, approximately $10,000," Roberts said. But the stunt is costing Milosports even more than that. "[We] had to fix doors, replace glass; there was damage to the security system, so we had to upgrade that and beef it up," Roberts explained. Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies have a few leads. The car used -- a white two-door Jeep Cherokee -- is not a common vehicle. Investigators hope someone will recognize it and call them. The sheriff's office also has another clue. "Just last week a woman tried to return the clothing that had been stolen, wanted to return it and get a snowboard," said Salt Lake County sheriff's Lt. Don Hutson. Employees asked the woman about it, and she admitted to buying the clothing out of the trunk of a car in Magna for $50. "We know the product that's missing, so when it surfaces, like that lady, we're going to find them," Roberts said. While deputies look for the burglar, those at Milosport are beefing up their security so this won't happen again. If you recognize the man in the surveillance video, or know anything about the burglary, call the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office at 801-743-7000.
