3/15/2009 8:31:39 PM Looks like the ice coast has finally begun to melt. Welt out today and I frequently found myself hopping over the brown patches of doom. It's been a good season but not long enough.
2/23/2009 6:49:22 PM I bought a pair of Four Square Boswell's at the start of the season and over the course of 20+ days I managed to rip a hole in the ass which eventually let in water and in turn freezes the pants...awesome I know. I need to pick up another pair this week as I'm headed off to Colorado next week.  I'm looking for something less baggy/lengthy. Does anyone have any recommendations as far as companies go? I know most either have a baggy/slim fit but I'm really looking for something in between and something that isn't too long. I was considering the Special Blend Memento or DB as I've heard although they claim to be "rocker" they're not exactly. Any help would be appreciated.
2/19/2009 10:07:13 AM I know the board is sick and especially with the insane sale going on now I'm really considering picking one up to rock as a beater board. Currently I have a 152 Ride Kink and a 154 Forum Symbol. The Kink is a fun park board but not as soft as I would like. What do you guys think? How would you compare the two? Is it worth me dropping the $145 to have another board? Help a brother out.
2/8/2009 11:10:19 PM Picked up a pair of 08' Cadet DLX's for the season and was stoked on riding them for the past 16 days out. However, as of late I've been running into some problems with the hardware. As of today, I've now had both screws in the toe cap strap bend + break in addition to having a screw on the ankle adjustment strap fall off.  I also just noticed that on my back toe cap strap the mount/base for the screw has ripped from the fabric and began to work its way from the strap all together. After every session I tight everything up and make sure it's snug for the next ride but I guess that's good enough. I have to contact union and see if they'll send me out another strap and screws for the weekend. Anyone have similar problems with unions?
2/4/2009 1:44:22 PM Hey guys thought it'd be a good idea, based on the NY Roll Call thread, to maybe try and organize a meetup. I've been shredding PA every weekend but I feel like it's about time I try out some new mountains. If anyone is down lemme know!
1/24/2009 12:28:59 PM Hey Guys...I grabbed this board not too long ago and only rode it once. It's a 2008 board and is in pretty much perfect condition minus 1 or 2 tiny knicks.  Comes with Ride L-Series bindings. One of the screws on the bindings is messed up but it can be replaced by any shop. I'm looking for about $250+ shipping. Lemme know if you're interested...I just wana get it off my hands.
1/23/2009 12:10:02 PM I just caught a good deal on one of these boards on whiskey earlier and I decided to snatch it up. I am currently riding a Ride Kink 152 and got the forum in 154. I'll be using it as more of a cruiser due to its stiffness and slightly longer length. Has anyone had any experience with the board? Good? Bad? Anything will help...thanks.
1/23/2009 11:14:40 AM I don't know how good it's gona be but I'll be cruising around all day.
1/23/2009 5:23:35 AM Hey guys random question, just seeing if anyone has had the same experience as me. I just got back from a week long session in Canada and I felt fine. The day after I got back I woke up and when stretching out my ankles the right ankle kept cracking/popping which never happens. The ankle felt a bit sore so I decided to massage it. When trying to loosen it up I noticed that a muscle just above the round ankle bone had seemingly become very tender. It's been a few days since I first noticed the problem and it has gotten better but not by much. I just got new gear this season and to be honest I did skimp on the boots so hence why I'm wondering if it may be that. I am currently riding a pair of the Burton Motos. When I was riding I felt as though the boot was a bit snug in that particular region causing a bit of pain but would go away after a few minutes on the hill. I am supposed to go riding tomorrow but it doesn't feel better. I am hoping it's just a sprain/sore muscle or something but I have no idea...I just dont want it to be something permanent. Thanks.
