4/6/2009 8:52:10 AM I know theres a lot of guys who follow MMA around here, but has anybody been watching this seasons Ultimate Fighter? Its Team America (F**K Yeah!!) vs Team United Kingdom, and its looking to be a serious thriller. A lot of those Brits just shrug off pain, and there are some vicious strikers. I hope USA brings it, but their work is certainly cut out for em. It's on wed's @ 8 i believe on Spike..
3/31/2009 12:09:19 PM I saw the 2010 Gear thread, but it won't let me post or even look in it? Anyways, i found these, and they're looking pretty sweet. Theres some interesting changes and additions, particularly the jamaican colors  and wingbacks on the Infidels. Gotta say, im curious to see how they ride. I'm pretty sure i'll pick up the 2009 triads though to go with the 2010 malolo. Fixed the link! http://www.shayboarder.com/2009/03/burton-bindings-2009-2010.html
3/31/2009 9:15:17 AM hey all - just wondering if anybody here was looking to pick up a season pass ? Theres a lot of people in the tahoe area and i'd like to ride with some of ya'll more often if we're going to the same resorts. I'm grabbing a squaw pass and northstar/sierra one for the 09/10. anybody else pickin one up?
3/30/2009 9:48:55 AM I pass Tesla everyday on my way to work, and have already sold myself on one of their cars in 2012 or 2013. Anyhow, the new babies are looking great, killing reviews, and will be built right here in Cali. For under 50K, (with an added $7500 tax credit from the current administration), you can pick up an all-electric beast that actually looks good. Features an integrated computer, WWAN, and a 17' touchscreen. Oh, and AWD is available for all you subaru lovers! Drill baby drill? http://www.teslamotors.com/models/index.php
3/30/2009 7:56:58 AM I got a chance to ride Dodge Ridge this wknd, its a pretty small resort bout an hour north of yosemite, and maybe another hour south of south tahoe.. the resort is maybe only 800 acres or so. Maybe it was too warm, but the resort wasn't even close to packed. Weather was really nice the whole day, i was out in a tshirt for most of it! Made for some great spring riding, but with warm sun comes slushy snow. I really couldn't get the speed i wanted, towards the end of the day, the snow really started to drag on my board. The resort wasn't bad though, even though it was small, they made good use of the terrain. I can really imagine Dodge being a great riding experience when theres some packed snow or powder on the ground. They had a few nice bowls, and some awesome looking terrain. I was really surprised by the terrain parks, the larger ones were well maintained and had a lot of options. Don't think i'll be going back this season, but next season definitely. Just passing it along..
3/27/2009 10:09:10 AM a friend of mine posed this question to me this morning, and im struggling to pick one! They've both got so many pro's and very few cons. Lets discuss.
3/18/2009 10:48:04 AM Has anybody got a chance to catch this show? it just started on sunday, and im liking what ive seen so far. It's basically America, with a parliamentary system. It kind of takes a bit from Shakespeare, a bit from Augustus, and what looks like a bit from Ceasar. It's on hulu if anybody wants to watch it.. but i def think i'll be keeping up with it.
3/2/2009 9:40:35 AM Ok, maybe you guys already know the deal, but Alpine Meadows in Tahoe is AWESOME! I spent my first time there on Saturday, and was completely blown away. This place is easily one of the best resorts in north or south lake, and apparently, few others got the memo bc the place wasn't even close to being packed. To start,  conditions on Sat were amazing, I was out in a light jacket and gloves. Even better, these guys have this awesome new leading edge technology called 'high-speed lifts' or something, all over the place. Who woulda thought how much that can change a resorts experience? *cough* kirkwood *cough*. Also, an this may or may not matter to some of ya, but Alpine has the best views of the lake that i've ever seen. I know, you can't ride on a view, but it sure adds a lot to the ambience. The trails were plenty fun, i rode the entire mtn. Getting to the backside was simple enough, had to go through some flats, but once i was there it was shweeeet. Also, Alpine gave me a chance to try my first black diamond! (whole other story lol) I love terrain, and Alpine had a lotta ungroomed (which i like) runs that never got old. This is my new favorite place in Tahoe. Just had to let ya'll know!
2/24/2009 8:15:03 PM Im headed to Alpine Meadows this saturday if anybody else is going to be up there. Never tried it before but i hear great things about it and i love riding places ive never been before.. great views, nice terrain, not too crowded seems to be the general consensus so here we go! Anybody been up there before or going up this weekend?
2/17/2009 8:39:22 AM Hi guys.. thanks to this awesome sale you'll be having this week, I get to pick up some new bindings! I'm currently riding an 09 Burton Custom ICS, and I was wondering you could articulate the differences, if any, between the CO2 est, Triad est, and Cartel est bindings. Thanks a bunch guys, for the help and sale!
