||YUP, why? becuse its easier to set the board on two work horses and wax it without having the bindings get in he way. Plus your strongly advised to do so, so you don't get the dimple effect where your screws are.

||going with Von Zipper and Oakleys in my vote. I have Von Zipper Dojo's and like them just because they are comfy and are pretty big so nothing gets in the way of me seeing.

|| Dang Spenser, you do have a lot more glaciers right inyour backyard. eldolocal68 trust me you would end up buying meat. Unless you have an airplane, boat, ATV,or anything like that or unless you get draw for one of the permits success rates for a week of moose hunting across the state remains at about 12% or usually lower. I've gone moose hunting for 5 years now and came home empty handed everytime. Saw lots of moose, lots of bulls but only about 1 legal bull(spike fork) one in about 5 years of hunting(I don't have any of the toys such as an ATV). SO why do I do it year after year? There is always the chance I will get one and I get to miss a week of school to be in the wilderness of Alaska which is purely awesome. Black bear hunting is easier. lots of bears here and there just never had a desire to get one that much. Salmon-I've got to much seriously to much! I've got salmon inthe freezer from three years ago and probably close to 50 cans of it. Problem is I don't particularly love salmon unless it's smoked. Halibut- are fairly easy to catch IF you have an ocean boat Trout-Lots of big ones if you know where to go, but you can't keep anything over 16 inches where I fish and I never wanna keep them anyways. Long story short Alaska is still amazing in my eyes. Lots of animals. Lots of thing to do, room to play, etc. If you know what your doing, have the money or toys you can be very successful.

||Haha sorry spenser. Yea there are a few bears here and there up here.I've seen only seven bears this summer within 1 mile of the highway,Saw 35 last year so far this summer4 blacks and 3 brown). Alaska is not like a lot of people think though. There isn't a bear or moose around every tree. Bears, unless you go fishing you really have to look for them, but their numbers sure are increasing(not exactly a good thing). On the drive down to seward we used to count how many moose we would see. now we count how many trips it is before we see a moose and we now count bears. Moose you can usually find them pretty easily most of the time(except hunting season) This was one of the "medium" sized bears I saw while fishing at the Russian River last year. Then this little black bear walked about 10 feet past us when we were hiking up the Harding ice Feild trail. But as for fishing I go pretty often every summer and only managed to catch and keep 33 salmon released probably 50 others. Was having fun one day on the Russian when everybody was standing way out in the river and was catching fishing right behind them. here is a pics of the results of 3 hours of fishing.

||I can drive seven hours north of anchorage for example and get tundra pictures of denali and all that or I can drive two hours south of anchorage and still get all the cool pictures on the way to seward. I guess my only advantage(and dissadvantage in ways) is being connected to the road system. I'm not going to try to say what Juneau is like because I've never been there. Anyways this was in the driveway last night.

||spenser has a lot more action shots than I do. We live a couple hundred miles apart and the state is a lot different where i live compared to where he lives. He also has a different camera(I have a Canon Rebel XSi) I don't know what he has, but I wouldn't mind seeing more of spesers pictures. He is really good at taking pictures also.
