3/16/2011 12:19:17 PM 08-09 but new, I bought them and never got around to using them
3/16/2011 12:27:55 AM $200 picked up local in the Bay Area. Board and Bindings, it's a steal. Details: DC XFB 148cm with medium Burton Custom Detox (size 8-11) Excellent condition, well waxed and ready to ride. Ridden two days, I just have too much in my quiver and I am willing to ship for extra (you pay actual S&H)
12/14/2010 6:16:00 PM its been listed many times here, cold temp
12/14/2010 2:40:27 PM still got a lot of these! anyone?
12/6/2010 6:56:00 PM Yeah most waxes are made for snow temps. I generally go by the squeeze test, grab a hand full of snow (with gloves on of course) where you will ride. Squeeze it, if it falls apart it's time for a cold temp wax. If it creates a nice dry snowball, all temp, if snowballs up and leaves your glove wet, warm temp time.
12/6/2010 6:02:38 PM For the most part, wax on your board is better than none. Unless you are truly racing and measuring the milliseconds, your specific choice in wax temperatures wont matter. You can always blend waxes also to fit your needs, I'm very hard on my edges so i tend to wax with cold temps on my edges every time, if the weather is a bit warmer I will wax down the middle with warm temp while keeping the contact edges waxed still with cold temp. All in all, a good all-temp wax and some cold temp wax is all you need in your tool kit unless you plan on snowboarding late into spring when it's super slushy. That's when you need the fancy warm temp high fluoro stuff.
12/6/2010 5:35:34 PM They concentrate almost completely on wholesale since they make most of the machines used in tuning shops. I have the whole sale info book and can answer any questions you may have.   They're website is terrible, at least from an information standpoint.  Seems like it's made to be as vague as possible.   I bought a bulk block of Hertel wax last season and it's probably about a 1/3 gone right now.  If I keep up on my waxing this season I'm sure I'll burn through it.  Would really consider buying one of these if I could possibly get some more information about it.  And yes, I googled it.[/QUOTE]
12/6/2010 5:28:59 PM by it's self  (-12c to -8c)  (10f to 18f) Wintersteiger made this wax to be easily mixed with a warm temp wax for an effective temp range of up to (-5c to 1c) (23f-34f). The recommended usage by Wintersteiger, this wax should be used on edges to prevent edge burn as well as in conditions where you may encounter cold, dry, fresh, or packed snow.
12/6/2010 5:12:45 PM San Francisco Bay Area in California. Canada, I'll have to check.
12/6/2010 5:12:01 PM Tempting, if you cant sell it for $150, I'll do $130 shipped as a last resort for you.
12/6/2010 4:27:33 PM haha dirrrrrty
12/6/2010 4:18:27 PM still available at this moment. sale pending funds.
12/6/2010 2:44:23 PM They are Nikes first snowboard boot, too expensive retail at around $250 to $300 MSRP, no one bought em, lot of shops dropped them down to $150 on sale and still couldn't get rid of em. I know some shops canceled their incoming orders of them due to low demand, what I'm guessing is Nike was overstocked so they sold all their remaining stock to Ross so they can clear it out. Problem is the inner liners, they have a lot of heel lift, the lacing system for the inner liner breaks easily, and well they look good but functionality is lacking. Materials are ok but not what you expect from such an expensive MSRP boot, there's also very little articulation between the upper and lower halves, and missing a lot of features found in top end boots where Nike was trying to compete. My problem with them is my heels lift in them no matter what I do or even if I size down.
12/6/2010 2:24:46 PM i know of 4 bay area ross stores with these in stock =)
12/6/2010 1:04:30 PM $20 shipped. $15 picked up in the Bay Area.
