11/12/2012 7:30:13 AM My subaru's first time in the snow, last Wednesday.
11/11/2012 6:33:21 PM i know what you mean about the lines and such. been to a few different resorts somewhat nearby, and the conditions are pretty terrible everywhere. Slushy during the day, and icy at night. I guess thats the crappy east coast conditions. I haven't been to JFBB though, def going to try to make a trip up there this season. i heard they have a great set up.  on another note, a free pass to mt snow and those other mountains sounds amazing =)
11/6/2012 4:47:02 PM wow, spenser! sorry about the shop, but im glad everyones okay! does anyone have an idea how it was started?
11/5/2012 1:55:11 PM i ordered my season pass this weekend. anyone else get one for this season?
10/31/2012 7:55:11 PM Definitely reeses peanut butter cups and sweet tarts!!!
10/30/2012 4:15:43 PM The devastation here is unbelievable. Surprisingly, my house was one of around 8 that didn't look power in my neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods. During high tide, the water came up within two houses of mine, which is not near the evacuation zones. Went for a walk this morning, and the damage and debris is crazy! Still water is everywhere, and I'm unable to drive anywhere because all of the outlets to the major roads are still filled with water, debris (such as oil tanks and boats), and cars that had gotten stuck through out the night. Here are a few pictures that I took with my phone, there are much more on my camera.  This washed up in front of my friends house a few miles from me. As you can see its STILL connected to the dock.  This is the Coast Guard helicopters that have been rescuing people people from roof tops all day.  We're about to head back out to help more people now. It's truly devastating out, I'm so lucky.
10/28/2012 6:15:34 PM  oh man, goodluck! stay safe!  im in zone B here, and its not mandatory for us to evacuate yet. i have some friends in zone A who arent leaving either. they get hammered by regular rainfall, lets see how screwed they are this year. for hurricane irene last year, the water came up 3/4 of their garage door and filled their basement probably 6 feet. so it should be quite the adventure. they at least went and got a generator for their pump this year.
Thanks. I'm about 1,000 feet from the bay. I was paddleboarding in the street in front of my house following Irene. But the house is a couple feet higher than the street and has been here since at least 1909. If it does flood I can walk, paddle or row to safety!
Yeah, my neighbors were canoeing further down my street after Irene too. My dad said that the rain is in Virginia now so it's traveling up the coast now. Should be close to NYC in a few hours. Now, all there is left to do is wait.
10/28/2012 4:40:14 PM I don't think it's going to head that way...hope for you it doesn't. It's supposed to start getting bad soon...although the worst is expected to hit tomorrow at 3 pm.
That sucks how you have to evacuate because of rain/flooding. In California, we only have to worry about earthquakes.
Yeah we don't have to evacuate much where I am...luckily. Just have to worry about trees coming down and a little flooding here near me. But my friend is right on the coast, so he's screwed when the tide comes in. The news has called for 4 periods of hide tide during the storm so it's gonna be bad.

10/15/2012 10:40:26 AM Oh man. That's crazy! So much credit goes out to the jumper and red bull. I wouldn't even attempt sky diving never mind even think of this. That was amazing. I didn't get to see the landing yet though, will have to look for it when I get home from work.
10/11/2012 5:21:54 PM i got an email today that Killington in VT was starting to make snow =) not my local mountain, but close enough to get out there for a weekend before my local mountain opens up.
10/11/2012 4:55:21 PM this is some johnny tsunami stuff lol i was a crazy disney channel fan as a kid. lol  signed. and will pass a long.
9/20/2012 6:54:15 PM I actually just finished watching this video on yobeat! What an awesome build. Signal makes some amazing stuff! The whole story and idea behind this one was what made it so awesome.
9/17/2012 7:30:02 PM it would be hard to be worse than last year. lol anything will be better.
