9/7/2010 5:29:02 PM I dont do anything extreme but i have come down hard a few times and on another occasion broken my wrist so always wear helmet and wrist guards .. And lately started wearing hip pads when in the park jibbin.

6/29/2010 3:53:08 PM Perisher could even use the exisitng perishercard setup but you pay one fee per annum but instead of just getting 1 standard discount you could incorporate some of the above ideas!
6/29/2010 3:50:11 PM I think the idea of having i guess sort of a membership type of setup would be great, kind of like frequent flyer but would be frequent rider! the more times you visit the more points you get and you can use them for discounts on passes or perisher accom or services, and have levels, i think similar to sierra where once you get to a certain level you have a discount for life. To keep it fair you could also put a time limit on points so it kind of gets you to visit more often like points can only be saved for 3 years or something along those lines!
6/29/2010 3:36:47 PM Tank,   Much appriciated and will let you know when im down next wont be for a few weeks as im away for work.   Cheers   jimmy
6/29/2010 1:39:40 PM Tank,   Thanks for the info and i can totally understand where you are comming from and as i said in the email(which i also formalised and sent off to the managing director of marketing) i love perisher and in spite of that weekend i will continue to visit. Please dont think i am looking for some form of compensation as i will refuse it (the offer was much appriciated) the point i was trying to get across was there are plenty of long time perisher riders and skiers that im sure feel the same as me and just want perisher as a whole to realise that even though ticket prices are some of the highest in the whole world "WE STILL GO TO PERISHER!". I just think perisher should look at a restructure of the way they decide on prices.   Cheers   Jimmy
6/27/2010 2:33:12 PM Just a Quick note! Firstly, i am a perisher fan through and through, i have been riding there for the best part of 10 seasons, and i ALWAYS choose perisher and recommend the same. After the weekend just gone i am not sure i will anymore, and anyone who was down there im sure will second this (and im sure there were plenty there as i saw atleast 4 other sierra stunts). The snow conditions were not the greatest (to be expected as its early season) and i have no problem with this as it cant be controlled by perisher but the cost of lift tickets can be! Ticket prices were full price over the weekend and they should not be! There was hardly any terrain open yet they still wanted full price. The only runs that were open that were worth riding were Front valley, part of goats gully and zalis at blue cow, for some one who is a little beyond beginner stage having these runs and only these runs open is a slap in the face! Yes the park was opne and looked ok but by mid morning there was a million punters lining up to hit features! I can understand that Perisher is a very expensive resort to run, and im sure it may be one of the most expensive in the world due to its size. But this does not excuse it from being resonable in the early season with prices considering not even an 8th of the terrain is open. As i said before i love perisher and up till now have always chosen it over thredbo, but this is just not good enough on their behalf. Thanks for listening and im sorry bring down the good vibe on this thread but i feel people should know this and im sure there are others here who feel the same..   Cheers   Jimmy!!
6/23/2010 2:15:34 PM Yeah go the novated lease thats why i always drive!! Only prob is i stupidly got a ute so can only take 1 person!! But its a fast ute so it gets us there nice and quick!
6/17/2010 2:04:50 PM   My thoughts exactly .... theres nothing worse than letting a friends friend who BTW is the biggest tool in the world talk up how they are going to shred all over the mountain for the whole five hour trip and then spend the whole first day waiting for them at the bottom in the lift lines....  BEAT IT!!!!!!!!
6/9/2010 2:13:04 PM Looking good cant wait to get down there!!!
6/7/2010 2:44:24 PM Yeah i dont mind it, it also means my car can stretch its legs at 3am down the monaro hwy!!
6/7/2010 2:10:17 PM Nice advice guys... We're looking at the Hilton too, it's ski-in/ski-out huh? Looks good. 6/7/2010 1:55:09 PM For sure i will be there!!!
6/3/2010 8:21:57 PM Came of a square down rail, knee first into the corner. caused nerve damage and lost feeling in a third of my leg below the knee. Apart from broken ribs and wrist thats about it..   Helmet has saved my melon a few times!!
