9/25/2009 7:02:51 AM In the short time since I became a member of Sierra, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my visits to this site, I have seen and read the various threads posted by members.  Some posts have been serious eye-openers and others serious eye-closers and lots of pictures seriously questionable, whilst others have been incredible.  However, the question I want to pose to you now is....   What do you think of David Beckham?
9/11/2009 2:49:31 PM Whaaaaat!  No-one needs shopping for handbags advice!!!  I'm shocked!!!!!
9/10/2009 4:16:10 AM OMG!  No Jenny I got some too......and I feel soooooo amazing wearing them.
9/9/2009 7:24:33 AM I could help if anyone wants to talk about the weather, handbags, highstreet fashion, general shopping, food - just don't talk to me about boarding - but only cause I'm just beginning!
9/9/2009 6:58:30 AM Hey Philwiles   I'm learning sooooo much from you!!!  Marmots, Euro-Disney, Mutzigs thank you .  Finished packing yet then?  Can I help....maybe speed up the process???   Take care.
9/9/2009 4:09:00 AM Philwiles - haven't you gone yet????  I suspect the Americans won't know what's hit them when you arrive with deadly concoctions et al!!   Thank you 4tunesfool for your review of Les Arcs I really needed some valuable advice unlike the muppetry I get from a certain staff member!!!  I hear the white water rafting is particularly good too - except you need a wetsuit - your own preferably as the rental ones apparently 'honk'....
9/5/2009 3:29:57 PM Hey Boarderin   Kaprun has changed a lot since I've been there then so has Mayrhofen - crazy drunken stupor isn't exactly how I would have defined them.......more sleepy and quiet........I obviously missed out!!!!!   Thanks so much for all your help it really is much appreciated.   Chat soon I hope   V
9/5/2009 7:36:39 AM Thanks Jenny I really appreciate you taking the time and trouble to tell me sooooo much!!!  And being so very generous about your ex boyfriend that takes effort and a special kind of person...... I loved Kaprun when I was there, as a skier it was a fantastic resort especially the kitzsteinhorn but then I was a skier - still am really I suppose, until I try this boarding lark - still you've got to keep up the challenges otherwise it's all downhill so to speak!!!   Take care and I may well get in touch with you about the instruction.  BTW were you really born 2004?  Wow only 5 years old!!!   Thanks again.   V
9/4/2009 10:08:44 PM Wow Philwiles   Fantastic for you - San Francisco!!  Never been there but have read the books by Armistead Maupin which paint an interesting picture......  But soooo soon and I'm just getting to know you too  will you still be available to answer my queries on here?    Les Gets sounds fab, as does the whole area.  Having looked at the various websites I must admit to thinking that Les Arcs looks like a concrete jungle (which doesn't really appeal - apologies) though if the resort is good it's always worth a try - but I am a bit of a snowbunny  and like my traditional chalets and resorts to look like they've been there for ever!!   What is a Mutzig?  and dare I ask - what's in it??  Sounds dangerous - I like that!!!
9/4/2009 5:23:20 AM Hey Philwiles   Ha ha ha thank you!  Begs the questions though are you stateside or in blighty?   AND......back to snowboard land - thinking of Morzine have you heard of Les Gets and is that resort any good?  Two reasons for Les Gets - a friend owns a chalet there and it could potentially be a cheap holiday!!! (always a good reason, especially with the current Euro/pound scenario) and having just come back from sud de france I'd know!
9/2/2009 10:34:37 AM Thanks Philwiles you are right La Plagne is a fab resort and in a great ski area too.  I will look at your Les Arcs suggestion too.  Thanks so much for your help.
9/2/2009 10:31:53 AM   Thanks so much for this I have been to Kaprun and thought it was really great up on the Kitzsteinhorn - though it was several years ago now (pre-tunnel fire) when I was a beginner skier - so have no experience really of the boarding aspect.  Thanks again.
9/2/2009 3:04:17 AM Hi Everyone   I'm looking for a really good resort in Europe for beginner snowboarders - it has to be good for intermediate skiers too (sorry!) but my son and I are trying to convert!!!  Have heard Les Arcs is ok but I'm not too sure that it really is as I'm not certain about the informants knowledge - so what about elsewhere?  Or can anyone confirm that Les Arcs really is any good?  Any help/advice much appreciated.    Thanks   V
