7/23/2011 12:40:37 AM Initial radiation they were able to provide some information about ... my concern is that length and level to where the contamination has ended up ... are food supplies safe, is drinking water safe. After knowing they were using sea water to flush the cooling towers and not controlling where that water was going ... makes you wonder. Proceed with caution - at a minimum boil your water. For those who don't known nuclear radiation has a long half life, which means it has the potential to stick around in soils, water etc for hundreds/thousands to millions of years.
7/22/2011 4:08:50 AM Just Tank will do ... have not been to Korea ... had some friends go there who have also been to Japan and rate Japan better. Japan gets lots more snow in their opinion. We are tossing up between Japan and Korea - the fall out of the Nuclear explosion has many guessing about Japan trips - just don't really know what and how far the contamination has spread. Other destinations of interest to you might be Chile or save the delero for trips to BC Canada. This is an exert from a review of Korea.Snowboarding in KoreaBy international standards the snowboarding in Korea in not incredible. Snowboarding in Korea general involves riding on groomed runs cut out of trees. Powder days are few and far between and there is little in the way of off-piste riding. Although the trees are well-spaced at the resorts in Korea, the low snow conditions means that it is not often that tree riding is available. What Korea does have though are good freestyle facilities. Like the nearby Japanese, Korean snowboarders love riding halfpipe. Most of the major resorts like Yong Pyong and Phoenix Park have answered their call by providing quality halfpipes.Although Korea does not offer exceptional freeriding, what it does offer is a totally different cultural and snowboarding experience and this is why is worth travelling there to check out the resorts.
7/22/2011 12:01:58 AM Your welcome - I am taking a group of 9 over from the 12th August, I play your guide and take them to all the good spots - if you want other boarders to hang with join our group OZWI Epic Tours on facebook. We are planning a crusade to Japan in February 2012 and a end of 2012 winter escape to Canada.
7/11/2011 2:15:52 AM Long term forecast has powder days (by many) ahead ...
7/11/2011 12:55:31 AM Will be in Qtown from the 12th - more snow to come for NZ - deep sessions in the powder room.
7/3/2011 4:34:49 AM Hey Grunge - I have been having the same troubles with real estate agents - share you thought, everyone has opinions they're just like .......
7/3/2011 3:29:22 AM Thanks for suggestion - Sadly you only looked at the negative - not my intention of the original post - I was genuine in my suggestion for people to share how good the Sierra Snowboard product was for value.
7/3/2011 3:25:43 AM Good memory Kenmanh ... cheers for the support
7/3/2011 3:24:01 AM Started a couple of years ago - stopped when TruSnow took over - selling last of my stock now
This is a first time I've heard of a Aussy reseller..... Did you have a formal contract with the former Sierrasnowboard owners?
It sounds to me like he was a reseller as in, he buys boards from Sierra then sells them on AU Ebay.  No contract required.
Except that it's shtooking illegal, especially since people could easily confuse him as an agent for Sierra Snowboard. (Aussy flag with SS logo....) I'm guessing the only reason he got away with it is because SS was doing tons of illegal shit as well.
Check your facts before posting crap like this - pretty bold to call SS illegal in a forum and community which was built as a result of SS and FYI I was an approved distributor of SS boards - and if there was an issue with anything I did, don't you think I would not be here. Ticks me right off when posts come down to this. Lets talk about snowboarding and not slander other community members.

6/24/2011 11:51:35 PM Just want to be clear - original post was made to insight any type of witch hunt ... I was genuine in my request to pass on the great quality of the Sierra product. Thanks for the support from those through the post.  Prepare your Sierra for heavy snow days - well here in OZ anyway.
