1/24/2013 3:09:55 PM I rode mine with the factory wax and it seemed fine. I like the sound of impregnating it though.... :)
7/26/2011 3:01:22 PM The motorola droid line of phones (droid 2, droid x anyways, not sure about droid 3 and droid x2) are the kings of talk time, for some reason they last a long time (assuming the screen isn't on while talking).
7/6/2011 2:59:13 PM Cars 2 was pretty good. If you couldn't tell, yes I have kids, haha.
5/17/2011 3:53:00 PM It's pretty neat the way they move the perspective over time too. I wonder how they do that, they must have a motorized rig of some kind.
5/11/2011 2:56:12 PM Does anyone know this guy? Was he ok? Seems like he was knocked out at the end of the video, or maybe just laying in shame....
4/27/2011 2:58:11 PM My son went down some bunny slopes on skis this season, he is 2 1/2. I'll let him try a snowboard next season.
3/25/2011 9:53:56 AM When are typical last day's of the season for snow summit and bear mountain?
1/25/2011 3:19:29 PM How are the conditions after all these warm January days? I am thinking about going on Monday (1/31). Is it really icy and hard packed right now in the mornings? What time is it softening up?
1/24/2011 3:06:59 PM Is crap season before or after strawberry season?  I haven't been up to the local socal mountains yet, but they keep posting about their fabulous snowmaking. Conditions are hard pack though, probably lots of ice.
12/22/2010 2:53:28 PM Are you sure they aren't just shut down due to all the rain we've been having? They still list night session prices on the website.
12/6/2010 3:01:28 PM I use an app called "My Tracks" on android for biking that tracks your route, speed, elevation change as well, but it would be messy logging a whole day's session, it would be useful if tracking one specific run for speed or elevation change. I'll check out phresheez when I make it up to the mountains this year and compare.
12/1/2010 3:18:35 PM Reverse will help you not catch edges, but you may find it harder to prevent slip outs in hard/icy conditions. I've got a sierra RC waiting in my snowbag, but I'm going to wait for more powdery socal conditions before taking it over my regular sierra crew.
11/5/2010 3:27:37 PM My friend took her 2 year old nephew boarding and he liked it until he fell and bit his lips then he started to cry like a little girl.  They didn't really teach him anything because they didn't know boarding themselves since it was their first time boarding so they just let him go on his own and considering his size and board size it's much easier for him to learn at his own pace since the board goes so slow.  He might not have the techniques down but at least he was comfortable on the board. [/QUOTE] We're they able to rent a board that small, or did they buy one? I didn't think about rentals, that may be my best option for his first time out.
11/5/2010 3:25:16 PM That after school special looks pretty neat, the 80cm board looks like it would work ok, but the boots look too large. I think I'm confused by the sizing for kids boots, and their sizing chart doesn't help one bit. I guess I had better just take him to a shop where he can try them on.
11/5/2010 3:18:15 PM Ok I just hunted around on the Burton site. It looks like an 80cm board is good for a 35 - 45 pound weight range. That's a good starting point, should last him a season or two. Thanks. If anyone has any pointers on how to get a toddler started, please speak up.
