12/15/2009 9:27:16 PM I figured for my first topic in a long while should be worth something. There is a sushi place in Sacramento that has a 4 pound sushi contest in 1 hour. I pay $29 if I don't complete it but free if I do. I think I will challenge it one day, what do you guys think? I pretty sure I can do it, I've been told my stomach is a black hole, just ask Steff. here is the place http://www.sukisushirestaurant.com/sushi-challenge.html and this is the plate of sushi
2/20/2009 12:28:42 AM I'm just putting feelers out there. I have used it maybe about 8 times since I picked it up late last year to today. The only issue it has is a little damage on the tail end of the board, I'll post pictures of the damage as well as the board overall either tomorrow or a couple of days. Other than that the base is still fine, may need a wax job, and the edges are in good shape Anyhow my asking price is $125, I think original it was something like $480 last year and most places if you can find it still sell it around $200 now. But because of the damage to the board I'm not worried about breaking even or making a profit. I'll work with anyone here in the Bay Area or in the Sac area, if it's outside of that we'll arrange shipping and what not if the times comes.
2/4/2009 12:49:53 PM Here's what he did to his "friend" maybe that is why also a certain someone dropped off the face of the earth for a few days.... hmmmmm

5/5/2008 9:50:29 AM Now that the Summer Film season is in full effect I going to review the first big blockbuster. Going into the movie I had 2 worries, I know Robert Downey Jr is a great actor and all, underrated and a dark figure with all his past off screen problems, but was he a good fit as Mr Tony Stark? And secondly, I didn't want to see an overly CGIed Iron Man. I'm a fairly big Ironman fan, I know the main gist of how he came into being and Tony's persona behind the mask, but I wasn't too worried about Holloywood butchering things like they did with other Marvel movies. It is a comic film after all, your there to be entertained not watch an epic cerberal drama. That said here we go, sorry if it's too long to read.   To address my first concern, Robert fits the bill. Tony Stark pre, and some may say after being Ironman, was a alcoholic, Arrogant Womanizer. But does it all in a sauve and devinair (sp?) way. But it's quite funny though seeing him be the techincal genius side of Tony Stark, from piece together his first make shift Ironman suit, to refine the final product. Robert I think did a very good convincing job as the infamous Tony Stark. He played the flambouyant weapons genius millionaire, to after a life alter moment with terrorists, a super hero looking to destory the very weapons he helped put into the world.   Now as for the rest of the cast, which was pretty all star of sorts. Terrance Howard as Jim Rhodes, I was in the middle about. He played the part of a compassionate friend and contempful business part fairly well, the hints of him being the future War Machine were pretty funny and obvious for Ironman fans. But I felt like he was out of place with the lack of connection to Tony Stark, other than a few parts where they hinted of them being longtime friends. He had a great line in the movie where he described himself as Tony's Babysitter, of course a few seconds later he was getting drunk with him   I didn't know honestly that Gwen Paltrow was in the movie as Pepper Potts, maybe with some fairly good reason. From what I remember of Pepper in the comics was that she was a all business lady, which Gwen played at first, and later was the love interest of Tony later, which they lead to or at least hinted to in the Movie. But there was times of the movie, especailly the end, where it seemed like she was a dizty lady, if you watched, refer to the battle scene at the end haha. Otherwise Gwen was ok, she had comical moments and actually had some on screen meshing with Robert, which was good. Not to spoil, but her puttting her hand literally in Stark's chest was both funny and cringing at the same time   And lastly there's the Obadiah Stane played by Jeff Bridges, he was still alive? I didn't know that. Anyways, he was actually not that bad, he played the double sided character pretty good. He was pretty convincing as both father caring firgure, as well as money first war monger, or should I say Iron Monger, oops I said too much   Now because you are either asleep by now or are smart enough to pick up storyline of the movie through my review of the main characters, so I'll spare you more reading. But really if you think about it, there really wasn't much of a storyline to begin with, you easily only had maybe 30 minutes of a story with the rest of the time filled with the ohs and ahs of watching Iron Man come to life, Tony Stark being Tony Stark, and the intro of SHIELD... oh shat I said too much again. That said, the CGI parts were done greatly, ILM I think out did themselves in this one. They
3/3/2008 10:23:46 AM you guys wouldn't happen to have any for this year would you?
2/21/2008 10:04:08 AM With all that's been happening, I think it's time we all come together and have a Kumbaya session. Afterall like the great epic song created by all the top 80s music stars, We are the world, we are the children, we are the ones to make a brighter day, so lets start giving... Start showing that love people!   yeah yeah I know I'm a nutcase

5/1/2007 3:11:08 PM *Poll made at Brody's request!*   I love cheesecake and I always get into a heated discussion. What does Cheesecake classify as, It does have a pie like crust, but yet the filling is smooth and cake like, plus it has cake in the name   And yes I'm bored at work
