12/20/2010 1:39:52 PM that sucks...bring it to your local shop to epoxy it...i hope you at least did what that guy did to your board to his face.
12/19/2010 10:03:44 AM its expensive near me to...where in PA do you go? i just wax my board myself now but i heard if your an rei member then they will wax your board for free.
12/19/2010 10:01:08 AM most wax isn't to expensive i either get one ball jay or bluebird wax and they'll last for a good amount of time.
12/19/2010 9:55:12 AM i've got a rocker board and i honestly cant tell the difference when stopping but everything else it does take a little getting used to but once your comfortable with it its amazing.
12/13/2010 5:27:13 PM two boards my first crappy beginner board that i got 2 years ago and my burton dom i got last year and ill prob keep until it breaks or 3 more years
12/13/2010 2:23:55 PM every other time i ride
12/13/2010 2:19:32 PM regular laces are the best feel and fit around your leg/foot.
12/12/2010 11:40:21 AM Jackets and pants usually come with a coat of waterproofing already on and this is supposed to be reapplied after a lot of use. You can either use the spray on or wash-in type of waterproofing to further waterproof any of your outdoor clothes. This DOES work and you can get this from an online store or your local camping/outdoors store.
12/12/2010 11:30:47 AM Starbursts are great just eat one or two on your way up the lift and do that every time all day.
12/12/2010 9:42:40 AM genius idea...im gonna do this to my board right now as well as detune the edges which i have yet to do.
12/9/2010 6:24:16 PM None but hopefully this weekend. The East Coast season is just about to start and im stoked.
12/9/2010 5:36:08 PM You should defiantly hot wax your board because the paste wax will come off very quickly and will not even be worth it at all. Its mainly good to put on after you have already hot waxed your board to make it even better. If your going out to montana your gonna want to put a fresh coat of hot wax on your stick.
12/7/2010 6:43:02 PM I never wear one because i fell that they are uncomfortable and weird looking. However as i am transitioning to bigger and bigger jumps i'm getting worried about my lack of head protection. I will probably be picking one up this season, it doesnt mean your a b***** to wear a helmet but that your smart and care about your well being. Also you tend to be less nervous and that helps a lot.
12/7/2010 6:37:09 PM Get a goretex or other type of waterproof patch from your local rei or ems. And if you can't sew well just go to a laundromat and have them put it on for you which will probably take only a few minutes.
12/7/2010 6:33:46 PM I got the dakine super tune set or whatever its called, the one that comes with the iron. It basically has everything you need to wax your board well. The wax isn't so good so i would suggest also getting any type of one ball jay wax because it is great. Its a expensive but so worth it in the long run rather then cheaping out and having everything break on you.
