10/24/2010 1:16:34 PM ya it's raining today at higher than 8000ft i think but im sure it will snow a little tonight and tomorrow. also, the night temps are supposed to be below freezing all week which will allow boreal to start blowing snow once it stops raining...i hope
10/24/2010 9:47:36 AM im definitely planning on going if i can convince a friend or two to come to help pay for gas. weather.com says it's supposed to snow friday =)
10/24/2010 9:39:43 AM i can get better deals at my local shop. so far im not diggin the new sierra. besides the fact that there are no more reward point discounts, the website is very unorganized, which is what i was worried about the most before the switch happened. for example, there's no subsections to separate the 2011 gear from everything else. VERY ANNOYING!
10/18/2010 2:53:14 PM I very much dislike the house website. It is very unorganized. Sometimes you can't tell if a product is new or from five years ago. As long as the ergonomics of the website remain the same or improve, I think I could deal without the amazing discounts. Besides the discounts, I've noticed Sierra is one of the best looking and easiest to use online retailers that even has a certain social element to it. There are other qualities besides price that will keep me coming back this website, even if the-house is getting some of the money.
6/1/2010 10:11:22 PM now i know why you are "Determined". haha
6/1/2010 6:07:07 PM the "sinkhole" explanation is obviously a cover-up of some top secret project being conducted be the government. gosh!
5/26/2010 3:04:22 PM but has anyone been there in the last couple of weeks? how much snow is left?
5/25/2010 10:09:46 PM I have no school monday and was thinking about taking the 2.5 hour trip but wanted to know if its worth it. Has anyone been there lately? Was your experience or ?
5/24/2010 11:23:09 PM i wanna live in tahoe for a month...for winter break and just get in as many days as humanly possible.
5/24/2010 10:37:40 PM I'm thinkin that if only maybe one or two runs at a resort had snowflex it might be cheaper than building a snowflex facility from scratch. I mean, all the snowflex centers that exist aren't that big anyways. I've been doing a little research on the Morgan Hill project and it looks like the land they want to build it on is completely flat, meaning they would have to build a hill from scratch. I'm guessing that would cost a whole lot of moola just for that one step. Then of course they would have to build parking lots and a lodge. The major ski resorts already have all these things giving them a HUGE advantage.
5/24/2010 3:31:54 PM update* website says its not opening till august 2011 =( I think the resorts in Tahoe should put snowflex on some of their runs so they can have people coming year round. One could go up and snowboard/ski for half the day and bike the rest (or whatever they want to do)in the summer. That would be dope. What do ya'll think about that idea? Shoot, i'd drive up to tahoe for a summer snowflex session.
5/20/2010 8:08:07 PM great idea. i wonder if that would actually work though =/. im no designer but a blank board would be sick! im sure i could have a friend do some graphic for me. ss would probably sell a ton!
5/13/2010 11:20:24 PM Wrestling in high school. Pre high and middle school I played B-ball, soccer, and baseball. All throughout middle school I skated. Skating was probably my favorite and I really want to get back into it. I actually was starting to but same putz stole it.
5/12/2010 11:02:21 PM I want to try skiing some day. It looks fun. Snowboarding is sick though and the gear is much cheaper than skis.
5/12/2010 10:39:44 PM I have vans and my feet start to numb but it's usually from the cold... I would recommend getting a bigger size.
